Does staying at GU's Jesuit residence count as a stop?

Not too surprised--I assume the neighbors have put the kibosh on it every time the Pope has come to America

I subscribed to the DFW's posts in the hope I would find the Pope stopping at Georgetown, not Catholic University.
But this week, a third different Pope visited Catholic Univ. No other U.S. university has hosted a Pope more than once.
Georgetown once again has chosen to promulgate PC propaganda in place of truth - a disgrace.

The Pope recognizes a Hoya when he sees one though.

If the administration would actually put some effort into completing the MSF, I bet the Pope would be a lot more willing to stop by.

Actually, Georgetown was represented, although in an indirect way. The crucifix at the canonization Mass was from Dahlgren Chapel. Apparently, that crucifix is one of the oldest in the US, brought over by Catholics coming to the country in the early days of colonization.

Inspiring the completion of the MSF Francis just needs one more to be on the fast-track to sainthood. I know he's against the death penalty, but maybe he can make an exception this one time and arrange for Syracuse's basketball program to get one?

Another connection to Georgetown during the Papal visit was Jim Gaffigan, who was present at the World Families gala on Saturday night in Philly. I didn't actually see him perform, but I saw him on the stage.

Gaffigan and Maria Shriver (along with Andrew Sullivan) were also on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert as his Catholic panel to discuss the Papal visit. Neither mentioned their Georgetown pedigree, IIRC.

Maybe we can get the Pope to come to Cooper Field next time he comes to the U.S.
