Impressive work by the staff to move from interest to visit to commit so quickly. Welcome Jagan! This!! Very good pull for the staff... 7'0 Skal Labissiere has a 7'1" wingspan

I was really nervous when I came home and opened the site and didn't see a change in Jagan's tread title to "Commit". I was at my son's football practice with a dead cellphone and couldn't follow online.......Welcome to the Hilltop Mr. Mosely!!!!!!!

Congrats, Jagan...love the qualities (size, athleticism, work ethic, toughness (particularly defensively), academics and character)...have every confidence based on these that he'll put in the work to refine his other skills (shooting, handling) to be an outstanding Hoya guard and program representative.

Great news! I like this pick up a lot - athletic, strong frame, smart, and well coached. Seems like a classic late bloomer who is blowing up this summer.

"My family, mostly my parents, we were trying to figure out if I should go to a school that's mostly academics or mostly basketball," Mosely said. "When Georgetown came in, it was a perfect fit. It was a perfect balance between basketball and academics."
There really is a niche for these types of guys -- usually Duke, Stanford and one or two others would be the destination of choice, but there's no reason this can't be a real Georgetown strength. Good job staff, and welcome, JM!

Oh wait, we won? No way. I kept my hopes tempered after the noon delay. Unreal. This kid is a stud. John wall, Derrick rose, steve francis type ups and wingspan.

2nd team all state this year, behind only seniors.
Next year he'll be the best player on the #1 team in the state.
He's gonna be a good one. Nice job staff!

Hat tip to Etomic for pointing out this kid's ability and fit with the program. I'm pretty excited about this kid. Seems to have great intangibles and works hard.
Bruce Brown, come on down...

Broadus got heavily involved about 3 weeks ago and made Jagan a top priority. From there, the staff, the program and the school did the rest.

Welcome Mr. Mosely! When was the last time we had a guard recruit out of high school come in with a reputation as an excellent defender? Rivers, maybe Clark? I can't remember but as a fan who really enjoys watching a good defense I'm thrilled to have him on board.

Love the athleticism, the grades, St. Anthony's, the focus on defense, toughness. Great signing.
Given the reports, his ranking, etc., it sounds like he needs some work on the skills side of offense -- shooting, handle, etc. Question for the recruiting gurus out there -- is the sudden interest in Mosely because he's developed these aspects and we just noticed (and we could expect a decent freshmen year impact), or is the staff projecting more of a Jabril-type career path where the offense takes a few years to come around? It's hard to tell whether he is underexposed or is more of a developmental play on offense.

Just from the articles III wants him to come in right away and replace DSR as a point guard/combo guard/facilitator. In other words half the minutes at the point to spell Tre Campbell and the other half at shooting guard.

Kid is clearly on the rise and was a bit under the radar. They love his motor, and his athleticism and he's more naturally gifted as a ballolayer than someone like jabril. He already has a better handle and better court vision than jabril today. Not quite the beast yet. Very similar trajectory as Josh Hart when you think about it.

Interesting article.....it seems maybe the staff sees him as a PG. I love this quote from the article.. "He told me he's going to need a lead guard to come in," Mosely said. "Not necessarily to take control of the team but to hold the team down, make the other people better and get the offense moving."This quote tells me that JT3 doesn't care so much about a true pg or sg ect.. seems like he just wants kids who can do some of everything on the court.. He had this quote in the Ben Standig article today.. We probably have as versatile a group a we've had for quite some time. You talk about things you want to work on in Italy. We can put multiple combinations out there with people in different positions. We have people you can't pigeonhole with 'Is he a point guard? Is he a two-guard?' I for one like this philosophy and I hope the staff continues to recruit to it in the future..
