The home jerseys have been changed twice since 2008.
The 2008 home unis were Nike, all navy with no piping.
2009 was Nike, navy with white piping.
2013 was Nike, navy with thick white stripes.

I'm not sure what I was expecting... but I was not expecting that.

Tops look like the old Nike/Russell ones.
Pants are AWFUL. Just awful.

Tops look like the old Nike/Russell ones. Pants are AWFUL. Just awful. Tops are fine. Cleaner than the old ones, I think. Helmets... that one photo has both the grey helmet with G and the new blue helmet. Are they going to alternate or something? Anyway, as an Auburn fan, I have an automatic allergic reaction to the whole "numbers on helmet" design, but those are fine for what they are. I like the broad grey stripe. The pants... I mean, in the era of Oregon, Maryland, absurd camo pattern uniforms worn by non-academy teams, Boise putting "Broncos" on their pants and a star constellation outline of a horse on their helmets, Wyoming deciding to put "Cowboys" down the leg because being the only team with a brown and yellow color scheme was apparently not distinctive enough, etc. etc... hard to get too worked up. Might as well have some fun with it while everyone is still undefeated.

The Auburn helmets this year are shinier and there was a minor civil war about it. But at least UnderArmour reverted to the original full pant stripe. The pants aren't bad because they're different, they're bad because they look like something my six year old would make in a video game. The new Navy helmets, for example, are different and cool. Kente cloth everything is what I always say.

Ah. . .if only as many people cared about the football team as care about the uniform and helmet change.

The addition of the Sgarlata Shield on the back of the helmet is a nice touch too. The Georgetown football version of "lack of institutional control" - going rogue and designing your own coat of arms.

Once HoyaTalk earns its proprietor the first million, we're all flying down to the Metroplex and TPing his house with Kente cloth.

Seriously, other than the colors blue and gray, what uniform traditions does Georgetown have? The Kente is no different than the argyle at UNC.

Your trolling is so prolific! Hey, I didn't start it this time Actually, the best part about this trolling is that it allows us to imagine a 103-year old DFW still ranting about Kente cloth and GU traditions!!

There's a separate twitter account dedicated to Hoya Equipment, but we can't get video or box scores from the Italy trip. Good to see that the AD has their promotional priorities in order.
