PG out of Gonzaga, probably warrants his own thread. Making some noise at Under Armour camp. From Rivals: "In the following game, Prentiss Hubb did his best to match Quinerly's performance. The 6-foot-2 guard from Washington D.C. recorded a game-high five assists as well and added five points on top of that. After the game, he said he already holds offers from Xavier, N.C. State, Cincinnati and George Mason." basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1781453

Had a solid showing at Chicago Elite classic, Scout write-up: "A big guard with long arms and good athleticism, Prentiss Hubb is someone who looks the part for Gonzaga. On the court he did a little bit of everything in his team’s win. Hubb finished with 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists and for long stretches was clearly the best player on the floor. What makes Hubb so intriguing is he is only beginning to scratch the surface of how good he can be. At 6-foot-3 with multi-dimensional skill, he is someone who can play all over the floor and defend a lot of different positions while also being a problem on the offensive end. This is going to be one of the best 2018 prospects in the DMV." www.scout.com/college/basketball/recruiting/story/1620402-chicago-elite-classic-top-performers

From Rivals: "Sophomore teammate Prentiss Hubb is a four-star shooting guard and he looked solid. A good jump shooter with 6-foot-2 size and the skills to slide over and play the point, he did an excellent job playing off of Lykes before the game got out of hand in Gonzaga's favor (which didn't take long). Lykes listed offers from Xavier, N.C. State, Cincinnati, George Mason, Maryland and Penn State. He recently took an unofficial visit to Georgetown." basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1835958

This season, Hubb was second in the team in scoring as he averaged 10.5 points per game. Prentiss scored in double figures 19 times. He netted a season high 26 points (23 points in the first half) against DeMatha on Jan. 31. He scored 20 points in the thrilling overtime loss to H.D. Woodson in the semifinals of the DCSAA Tournament. It was the second game where he scored 20 or more points. Prentiss Hubb was also named to the WCAC First team All-Conference and the DCSAA Second Team All-State. Prentiss has offers from Maryland, Cincinnati, NC State, Penn State, George Mason and Xavier. Right now, Maryland is looking like a favorite to land Hubb but he is still a sophomore and more offers should come his way during his junior year. Hubb is the second player from Gonzaga to receive an offer from Georgetown. Three-star guard Chris Lykes is the other Purple Eagle that is being looked at by the Hoyas. Another player from the DC area that is on Georgetown’s radar is H.D. Woodson guard Kiyon Boyd. It will be interesting to see if the Hoyas can land some of these local players. insidethelockerroom.net/2016/04/08/gonzaga-guard-prentiss-hubb-picked-up-an-offer-from-georgetown/

1ST TEAM
Prentiss Hubb, Gonzaga 2018 Guard
"Hubb has emerged as one of the area’s top young floor generals, and his versatility was a major key to Gonzaga’s success this season. He averaged 10.5 points per game while also finishing second on the team in rebounds (4.3 per game) and assists (3.7)."

He added the Terps, Cavs, Georgetown and Xavier are some schools that standout early.

www.scout.com/college/basketball/recruiting/story/1674148-not-availableMaryland: "It was a really good environment. I've been there a couple times to watch games and they're a really good program. I like them a lot because they play through their guards with ball screens a lot. It's overall a good school." Georgetown: "It's a really good campus. When they have big games it's really intense there. They play hard and have a system offense." Virginia: "I went when they played North Carolina so it was a really big game. The fans were really hyped. I like the coaches; they're trying to form a bond. I know I can trust them." Xavier: "I don't know when but I plan on trying to go there. I like the way they play. I talk to their coaches and they say they really like me. They know the type of offense I like with a lot of ball screens and that's how they play." As of now, Hubb doesn't plan on making a decision any time soon.
