Mods should use their other account to trash posters. If you're talking about me, this is my 'other account' (i.e., I don't have another account). I can assure you there was no trashing going on at all, again if you are talking about me. If not, carry on.

So was III saying that he essentially was hands-off during games and maybe outside of substitution patterns was allowing his players to figure out how to win on their own? Not complaining if that was the case. That would be an interesting strategy which could perhaps pay dividends down the road.

You lie. That's not lichoya68. I can understand that guy. He speaks English. It's about more than just basketball, grasshopper. As a fellow Class of '68 alum, I can attest to the fact that Lic can speak intelligently. He also looks about the same as he did 50 years ago. Maybe a little less hair. BTW, why did the team ignore Naples and the South? That's where my people and I bet the best Italian bball players are from.

It's the offseason, we'll need something to talk about now that the Italy trip is done!

It's also a great example of why it makes no sense to get bent out of shape that we lost one of the games, or we might not have had as big margins as we otherwise would have. I am sure JTIII experimented in many ways. It's a rare chance in college basketball to play "real" games without the tension and consequences that occur in the season. It's one instance where the scores are a lot less meaningful than the experience gained.

On a lighter note Thanks Dan for posting all the interviews.
Makes me feel old when Brian and Rich are making comments about being on the road with the Hoyas for going on 45 years. somehow i think their math be wrong. Speaking of Brian there is a man who never gets recognized for what he has given to the program in a wide variety of ways and in numerous positions over the last 40 odd years. In my mind he is clearly the unsung hero behind the scenes of Georgetown Basketball.

And with the exception of Cameron all of the guys making those on-court decisions were sophs and a freshman class that hasn't played a "real" game yet. Impressive. Most impressive.

But I'm naturally prejudiced toward class of '72's.

Didn't the Hoyas actually have a videographer on the trip? I saw one during one of the periscope clips. I hope they release some footage.
Also, anyone on the board who was at the games care to give an overall recap of the players for the overall 4-game stanza?
