With the news that Wisconsin's Bo Ryan announced today that he will be retiring at the conclusion of the 2015-2016 season, I figured it made more sense to open a new Carousel thread instead of merging the news into the 2015 Carousel. And so. . .
Newly added information is in bold. Former Big East Conference coaches will be indicated in italics.
WISCONSIN (Big Ten)-- Bo Ryan (14 seasons; 36-4 last season, 357-125 at Wisky, 740-228 overall) announced his intent to retire at the conclusion of the 2015-2016 season.

And the coaching carousel has already started spinning, with UNLV's dismissal tonight of Dave Rice. An 0-3 start in the Mountain West Conference, including at 59-57 loss at Wyoming last night, coupled with strong anti-Rice sentiment in the local media and amongst alumni, sealed his fate.
Newly added information is in bold. Former Big East Conference coaches will be indicated in italics.
NEVADA LAS VEGAS (Mountain West)-- Dave Rice (5 seasons; 95-54 at UNLV and overall; 9-7 this season) was fired January 10, and was replaced on an interim basis by Todd Simon (UNLV assistant coach). WISCONSIN (Big Ten)-- Bo Ryan (15 seasons; 364-130 at Wisky, 747-233 overall, 7-5 this season) announced his immediate retirement December 16, and was replaced on an interim basis by Greg Gard (Wisconsin associate head coach).

Who do we think are top picks for major programs to hire for the 2016-17 season? Any thoughts on the following:
Capel -- unemployed Amaker -- Harvard Archie Miller - Dayton Underwood - SFA Masiello - Manhattan Spiker -- Army

Might have added Jamie Dixon had Pitt lost today. Could see Capel at Rutgers if nothing better turns up.

Kind of surprising that Missouri is keeping its coach - 19-44 overall, 6-30 in SEC in his 2 years.
