Ok....since it is summer....Imagine
PG - Paul White SG - Kaleb Johnson SF - Isaac Copeland PF - Marcus Derrickson C - Jessie Govan
Imagine playing a 2-3 zone. That lineup could give some fits. 4 of those guys are supposed to be good from behind the 3 too.

That lineup would be trapped to death.

They could split the trap and pass over the top. We are long and could play this or other similarly very long line up- put Govan at the 4 and Hayes at the 5 and we are even bigger.

That lineup would be trapped to death. ...and then they would destroy the traps

That lineup would be trapped to death. Too tall to trap. As mentioned they would simply pass over it.

We'll never play tall ball but it would be fun to see! Would suggest White, Peak, Copeland, Hayes, Govan!

Any line up without DSR bothers me to some degree I don't mean to suggest those are our 5 best players presently...just an intriguing line up that many teams could struggle with. Assume DSR has the flu...

I get wanting our best players on the floor so don't disagree that more than a few minutes without DSR on the floor is a mistake. Would rather see this line up then 4 guards any day!

I like the idea behind that lineup. Offensively I don't think it's totally absurd. We'd probably see a lot of true princeton offense from that group and not a whole lot of attacking off the dribble. Defensively it's probably pretty cringeworthy, at least until the freshmen gain a little experience. They may be tall, but getting comfy playing D at the college level is usually a pretty rough transition.

I think that line up would likely have a lot of trouble scoring. They'd need to be running the offense crisply, because there's not a lot of creators on the floor, except Isaac.

I like the idea behind that lineup. Offensively I don't think it's totally absurd. I do. I can't imagine us going too long in a game without either our best scoring options in the game (DSR, Peak) or our best ball handling options (DSR, Tre). If you want to propose it as a look down the road two years from now, that's a different story, but I'd hope our PG situation would be a lot better off by then.

I don't think the idea of the original post was to propose a legitimate rotational lineup. I read it as more of a "hey, look at the versatile players we have, wouldn't it be fun to play this lineup?" So taking it a face value, I don't think it's totally absurd. Clearly if there ever comes a point where we don't have at least one of DSR/Tre/LJ on the floor with all those forwards (and 3 freshmen) then something went catastrophically wrong.

Reading comprehension is surprisingly low around these parts

Put me in for a little bit of: Hayes, Govan, Marcus, Cope and White.
Extremely tall, good perimeter shooting, should clean up rebounds, lots of putbacks, matchup nightmare, the other team will not approach the rim...
What a luxury the 15/16 roster is!
