Since their last loss, the team has scored an average of 3 goals pg (5 games). Nice!

Strong showing today. Didn't look anywhere near as outclassed athletically as they did against Akron (who, to be fair, also beat UMD 1-0), even though the Twerps are known as a very athletic team and they had two extra days' rest. Absent one bad miscommunication between Josh and JT, it would've been a well-deserved clean sheet. As it is, great effort, and how about Josh flying down the field on that counter to set up the game winner - he may have shocked the defense into forgetting their responsibilities.
Still plenty of work to be done, especially on the offensive end, although outshooting UMD 16-13 was a very positive step. Provy looks to have lost a step this year, but Creighton is sitting at #1 nationally with all 24 first place votes, so the boys will need to keep gelling pronto if they want to have a shot at the Big East title. That regular season finale could be one for the ages.

Good win today. Two straight wins vs UMD after 28 losses and a tie.

Great win boys. With Josh back healthy they are ready to do some serious damage. Yes, I know it's obvious, but you can't underestimate how important it is to have the (arguably) single best collegiate player in America back. And it hasn't bee discussed too much, but the team has had other key injuries in some of those early losses as well. One of the (few) disadvantages to playing a very technical, pass-heavy style of play is that it's harder to replicate with unexpected personnel on the field, since everyone needs to be on the same page. It says here that the team goes on a serious roll starting now....

Even in defeat, Sasho Cirovski manages to be an arrogant toolbox:

Even in defeat, Sasho Cirovski manages to be an arrogant toolbox: They did everything right, yet still couldn't best us. Man, we must be good!

Hoyas win 1-0 over Providence on a beautiful goal by Brett Campbell. Great to start off 1-0 in BE play.

Men play at Noon so it's possible to watch the soccer game and still make it for the start of the football game at 2.

Harry must have brought the boys luck as they continue to winning (non-losing) ways with a 2-0 blanking of #21 Butler.

Great day at Shaw. Harry was honorary captain and did the walk-on and anthem with the boys.
Afterward, he named Cole Seiler as man of the match.
