Philadelphia, PA (Future150) -- For Mother Nature April is a month of rebirth. For basketball youngsters April represents an outpouring of attention where once merely a winter chill existed. College coaches hit the road in earnest and evaluate the blossoming athletes. Saturday class of 2017 point guard, Quade Green, earned the beaming glow of the seasonal sun. Immediate reviews of Green included "best guard at UnderArmour" and "the best point guard we've seen" along with Green "does whatever he wants." Competing in UnderArmour's first featured event of the season, the Philly talent scored 14.5 ppg with 3.2 apg. "He had a great weekend," said AAU teammate Kodye Pugh. "His shot was popping. Being able to make a move, and get his shot off." A high volume scorer, Pugh succeeds off passes from Green, so he personally sees the benefits of playing with a great guard. "He can look for other players or get his own shot," said Pugh. "He had a great weekend scoring the ball. Strapped up on defense too." future150.com/hs/basketball-news/quade-green

I really like this kid he's super scrappy and has a good handle. I thought I remembered this video, IMO he got the best of Carr at the PG position regardless of what the stats say. He's got a lot of good teams after his services I hope it's not too late. future150.com/hs/basketball-profiles/quade-green-pg-20174921

The staff is putting in some serious work both 2016 and 2017. Very impressive. Can't fault them for a lack of effort. Let's just hope we can get some of these talented guards and stop that story.

Jeff Borzello @jeffborzello
Quade Green has been the best player on the floor in this first game. Great vision, fearless going to the rim. Top 50 2017 prospect. #UAA 4m

Quade Green, 2017 - Nuemann Goretti(PA)
Quade was so efficient during his performances at the lead guard position. He penetrated the lane at will and created open shots for his teammates. We watched Green all summer suit up with WeR1 which was one of the better teams on the 17U Under Armour Circuit. At times his dynamic backcourt mate Trevon Duval overshadowed his play with all the media attention but don’t get it twisted Green is LEGIT. Unfortunately, his talented Goretti team fell short to the Patrick School (who were without Nick Richards and Bryce Aiken) for the championship.
