He is thought to be going to South Carolina to play with Dozier. He has no interest in us.

I'm sure Kenny Williams will be excited to know that UNC is recruiting other players in his class, at his position, 3 days after he committed to the Tar Heels. Between Williams at UNC and Mann at Florida State (among other class of 2015 one-time Hoya targets), I hope the coaching staff monitors their developments over the next couple of years, could easily see an Akoy Agau type situation emerging where guys don't see PT and want out within a year or two.

I would rather endure another YB-choreographed Ballroom Dancing halftime show than recruit Kenny Williams for the third time and face the inevitable rejection for the third time.

Didn't he sign up to be at VCU with Mack? I realize that the rest of the roster situation might be different at UNC and VCU, but I doubt he's going to be all that angered by UNC recruiting a guy he was willing to play with a few weeks ago.

Mack is a 6-6 small forward. That's the last thing we need.

Why? Tevin Mack is a small forward. Kenny Williams is a small combo guard.

Hey...JT3 hit with Peak and almost had Dozier. Continuing the SC prospect pursuit would be smart.

Mack back on the market after being "released" by Shaka Smart and Texas. He was one of their best players but has an attitude. The Hoyas could use that attitude!

Would love a guy with his talent level--not sure his "attitude" is the type we really want though...

2 suspensions at Texas. No thank you. Any idea on what the suspensions were for? Was it the typical "breaking team rules" statement that every school uses when a player gets suspended?

"Violation of team rules" this time - but he has missed 13 games, started Jan. 12 so have to wonder if academic in nature. Was also suspended for the opener back in November. I don't like the feel of it all.

I hope the staff does their due diligence but I expect it to show that he is not Hoya material.

Kenny Brunner, Ed Sheffey and John Turner say hello! If a player is talented enough, people tend to find a way. Victor Page was not Gtown material and yet he was brought in to try to get us over the hump. We tend to throw stones at other schools (and yes the Sheffey & Brunner stuff was post school) but lets be real.

Technically AI had some baggage before enrolling as well ... maybe this young man just needs a change of scenery. Also regarding Brunner, check out The Drew documentary on Showtime. Great film and some classic Brunner stuff.
