Mods, feel free to kill this thread if it is improper speculation -- undocumented rumblings about DSR possibly going pro -- CH's tweet posted about an hour ago. MOD NOTE: obviously rumor/speculation, but it's a tweet that is out there. I added it for reference. Official GU press release: www.guhoyas.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/033115aaa.html

Discussion has already begun in the 2015/2016 thread, but who cares if we have two...it is the off-season after all.
Personally I hope hes just going to draft camps to raise his profile for his future.

Mods, feel free to kill this thread if it is improper speculation It's not improper speculation. The fact that Casual made a tweet is pure fact. While the substance of the tweet might have been speculation, our discussion of the tweet itself is completely permissible.

He's a junior -- at minimum, he needs to get NBA evaluations in order to understand where they view him and what to improve.
It would obviously be a huge hit to the Hoyas next year if he stays in. Personally, I think he would need to get lucky to stick with a team (like get on the 76ers lucky). But I'm not an NBA scout. But he's not going to be mentioned for the lottery and that's what needs to be said about you to guarantee first round and a contract.

Wish him the best. But, yeah, that does not seem like the type of statement a school makes if he his testing the waters. He is gone.

This is why all the discussions about redshirting are stupid. DSR is not going to be drafted. But he probably can make enough money leaving that it doesn't matter.

Brian Hamilton at SI and GU Voice both reporting it will be with an agent. So he's gone. Terrible for us but wish him the best.

Wow. Jeez. Wow.
EDIT: What, if anything, does this say about the program at the moment? I really don't get the college game these days. It's getting less and less enjoyable. Damn.

Wow.
From a "2015-2016 season perspective" this hurts. A lot.
From a "DSR's pro career perspective", I just don't get it. At all.

Well this is a punch in the gut. Oh well, part of being a fan of a big time program and getting the best recruits. I hope he is successful and makes it in the NBA. He certainly was a fun guy to root for.
