I don't see how that shows anything.

"Make history" by becoming one of the most prolific scorers in Georgetown history?

This is pure speculation, based on nothing but my imagination... But he's definitely graduating early and transferring to St. John's to play for Mullin.

Does this mean Tre Campbell is now playing 38 to 40 minutes a game next year? That'd be a lot to ask...

Well, this changes things. We now could really, really use a fifth-year transfer that can score the basketball. Four hours ago, getting one of those meant going from a Top-25 team (a step up from this year) to "maybe we can be elite-level." Now, we need someone that can be a primary scoring guard just to be in the same general place we were in this year. Obviously, that's assuming that Govan/Dickerson aren't true studs, and that Ike or someone doesn't turn into Durant next year.
But just assuming the freshman all improve reasonable amounts, we've lost an incredible amount of offensive fire-power.

Messrs. Peak and Copeland had best be dribbling around campus from now until October.

The team's balance for next year? The only upperclassmen left on the team were the #10 and #11 minutes pg players! #10 Reggie with 4.6 mpg in 23 games (out of 32) #11 Hayes with 4.1 minutes in 17 games
Really bad! So much for roster development/preparation for worse-case scenario!

We're moving Paul White to the backcourt, with Tre, and starting Bradley, Govan and Derrickson up front.

What's with this "shock the world," "make history" mentality that so many players exhibit? Is anyone actually writing a history book about really good college basketball players who bail on a college degree in favor of playing in Eastern Europe? What kind of "history" is he going for exactly?

We're bringing in Marcus DERRICKSON.

What kind of "history" is he going for exactly? I think he is probably trying to be the first NBA guard under III, that seems pretty plausible to me.

Anyone have a sense of what Kaleb Johnson can provide in terms of ball handling?

But still, if you are an unsigned combo guard, you should have the Hoyas on speed dial right now. You will never have anything closer to guaranteed minutes than this opportunity.
