Just to confirm...no Boeheim in this game...is that right? Thought his suspension was only for ACC games.

Maybe he was trying to post on the thread above this one, on Jack's passing?

The game would not be nearly as much fun if Boeheim wasn't on the bench. Like it or not, he is almost as synonymous with the Big East as is Big John.

A depleted Wisconsin team and then likely a shot against Duke's newest crop of one and doners. Early in the season for both teams. Should be fun.

So by December 6th, the Hoyas will have played Maryland, Wisconsin, Duke or VCU, and Syracuse.
Glad I am feeling optimistic about this team!

I love Big John! Great stuff!
And I would LOVE to see the Hoyas play St. Leo's again, at least once, just for old times sake.

If St. Leo's, Hawaii Hilo and Loa are not division I then it doesn't hurt the RPI. A year we're not going to Maui or a big name Thanksgiving tournament it wouldn't hurt to let the guys get some Vitamin D maybe we could embrace the Karma and have a tournament of us and all three.

Enough with the negativity--Maryland, Duke, Wisconsin and Syracuse will have the the opportunity for an RPI enhanced loss against Georgetown.

Actually, that is a huge advantage for the Hoyas. The UNC-C on-campus arena can get loud for a big game, say, on a Saturday night. Much less of home-court advantage for a Tuesday at TWC.
