From a fairly composed cyclonefanatic.com board (Iowa State), in the aftermath of their loss to UAB: Re: Official Post-Game Meltdown - You Post HereGRRRRRRRR I scheduled my vasectomy so I could have a reason to spend a few days on the couch watching ISU in the first and second rounds... now I'm stuck on the couch with a literal and figurative kicked in the nuts feeling.I actually just heard at lunch this afternoon that the frequency of vasectomies spikes right around March Madness, presumably because you have something to watch every day starting at noon and an excuse to just sit on the couch. I'm just going to extrapolate from this sample size of one and assume that was factually and statistically correct. EDIT: Wonder if this is the same guy... www.nydailynews.com/sports/college/men-vasectomies-watch-ncaa-tourney-article-1.2155598

Butler looks good so far. Still a lot of time left though. Absolutely. Great first few minutes for the conference. On paper, this is a pickem, but I went with Butler in ever bracket I picked and not just for conference loyalty. Texas has some of the best athletes in the conference, but Barnes is a very questionable coach and Butler is just a terrible matchup. Disciplined and smart to advantage of defensive lapses. Not going to beat themselves or let Texas get into a running game.

Good to see Cameron "Too Much Queso" Ridley again. In all fairness, dude has slimmed down quite a bit since we broke him in MSG back in 2012.

Join the club, Iowa State - Duke and Georgetown. I hadn't realized it until this post. Iowa State has only made it out of the first weekend once in Fred Hoiberg's five years in Ames, a Sweet Sixteen appearance last season. Clearly a failure of coaching. . . . In fairness though you have to mention that he was an 8 & 10 seed in his 1st 2 appearances and got wins both times. Last year he was a 3 seed and made it to the sweet 16 and lost to the national champs.. He's done a good job..

Etomic. . .I do think he's a very good coach.
Merely a little sarcasm, in light of how JT3 is viewed on post-season results. I give their board credit. . .they are more concerned about whether he will leave to coach the Chicago Bulls, and not at all pointing accusatory fingers at him. Maybe we can learn a little from the Iowa State fan base.

DEEEEP 3 for the lead. That was like 3 feet behind NBA range.

I had no idea what they were doing that possession but they played it for a 30-footer and NAILED IT.

And down goes another #3 seed. We're looking better all the time!
Big 12 now 0-2 in the regional quarterfinals, with 2 #3s losing.

Georgia State with a big time 3pt shot to take the lead on Baylor with under 4 seconds on the clock.

Between the 3 point shot and the expanding pool of very talented players available to mid-major teams, being a 3 seed or 4 seed means less than ever. The parity in the college game is hitting epic proportions. Look no further than the first 3 games of this tournament.
Oh, and is the Big 12 really this bad - I thought they were supposed to be the best.

GA State clears the way for Xavier if they can take care of business.

13-0 run in final two minutes for Georgia State.
Baylor played not to lose instead of playing to win.

Maybe we should have traded places with our big east breathren with #6 seeds. Both now have great chances to make it to the S16...
