Northeastern blew it. They had the dude open on the baseline. God he was SO open. Not particularly surprising, though. One of the more glaring differences between college and pro in both football and basketball is how bad the clock management and endgame situations are handled. NU comes down with 30 seconds left and is completely unable to call a play and basically dribbles around like they've never seen a basketball before, then Notre Dame's defense leaves somebody wide open and Northeastern can't find him.

Notre Dame's defense was BAD. Really bad. Almost as bad as their rebounding. If we were a six seed like I had predicted that is why I was dying to be in their bracket. Alas, they luck right through to the next round.

Trendy darkhorse pick for the final four goes down to a #14 seed. That was just the second game of the tournament. Thank you to Iowa State for taking some of the pressure off.

Did anyone else know Iowa St was in our bracket? Because I just found this out. We aren't even the biggest upset in our own bracket this year!

Butler looks like the better team so far. Making Texas work on every posession on both ends. Typical Butler.

Texas is just not that good. Butler might well embarrass them. Could be a very tough first day for the Big 12.
