Holy Cross has scheduled a press conference for tomorrow to introduce Bill Carmody, former head coach at Princeton (before JT3) and Northwestern, as its new head coach. Rumors abound on the Seton Hall board that Kevin Willard was offered, and declined, the position. That's a pretty good hire for the Cross

Might be time for Rick Barnes to update that resume. Texas AD Steve Patterson declined to comment upon Barnes's job status, when specifically asked that question after today's 56-48 NCAA tournament loss to Butler.

The exodus from Indiana is beginning. UIC is expected to announce that Hoosier assistant coach Steve McClain will be named the next head coach of the Flames at a Wednesday press conference.
As for Crean's complaint about the officiating in the Indiana/Wichita State game. . .I wonder what Ed Cooley would be saying, if given the chance, about the hosing his Friars got in Columbus last night in the Dayton home game.

They may be interested in him, but reports are now out indicating that Ben Howland is in negotiations with Mississippi State, to become their new head coach rather than at DePaul. Bryce Drew now appears to be the frontrunner at DePaul.

Saw today that Bobby Hurley and Lindsey Hunter are both under consideration at DePaul.
Also, Tavaras Hardy is in the mix for the Bradley job- the new Bradley AD was at Northwestern previously.

Didn't take long. Reports are out indicating that Arizona State has offered its head coaching job (which just opened up today with the dismissal of Herb Sendek) to Duke assistant coach Jeff Capel. Capel was fired after the 2013-2014 season by Appalachian State. Not sure how failing at a lower level job, like AppState, makes one qualified for the Pac 12. Earlier rumors had Memphis's Josh Pastner in the running for the ASU job.
