Defend Home Court.
Send the Seniors off to the BET in style.

Just keep focus and play hard and we will be fine. Let's get Paul back on track with a couple of buckets, and get some contributions across the board. One last home victory.

Paul looked completely lost out there. Like he was shooting a basketball for the first time. I honestly felt he was the most polished (not saying most effective) of the four freshman earlier in the year. Crazy what loss of confidence can do to your game. He desperately needs to get some easy buckets to get going and hopefully good things will follow.

Stay focused and get the win. It would be nice to run some set plays to get some easy baskets for Paul and LJ to get them back in the groove, but first and foremost get the win.
Can't wait to come down for this game and send off the senior class.
Hoyas are 8-2 in senior days under JT3. The 2 losses were his first year and our first game with out Chris Wright in 2011 due to his broken hand in the game before.

We can't look past this SHU game. Gibbs will be back and looking for redemption. Let's not forget that SHU is the only other team in the BE that beat Villanova. True, they are head cases but who knows if they will get their act together when they play us. We have to bring it on Saturday and finish the season strong. We win and we're in the top 25 in the USA Coaches poll and may get a 5 seed in the NCAA tournament. Would love to secure a 2 seed for the BE tournament, so we don't play SJU on their "home court."

I hope we dismantle Seton Hall headed into the BET. Leave no doubts.

Anybody can beat anybody in this league. Do you really think Butler expected to lose to us on their home court where they had only lost two games, before we beat them on Senior Night? We have to come out on fire and put the Hall away early. I like the way Bril started the game at Butler. Loved his intensity and energy. And also loved the way DSR finished! Hope everyone contributes and we end the regular season on a very positive note.

No help from Seton Hall tonight against Providence. They were hot to start but faded down the stretch of the first half and came out flat in the second.
Need to take care of Seton Hall ourselves on Saturday and then hope for some help from Butler on Saturday. Annoyingly the games take place at the same time so we won't be able to watch that game.

Whitehead seems like a Harrison-type player. He can score but his bad decisions help his opponents. Hopefully, we get the SHU that played that second half and not the one that played the first 15 minutes of the first.

I'm upset that I wasn't able to get the days off to go down to cheer for this group of seniors. Hopefully, at the least, I'll get to watch the game in real time on TV and cheer just as hard from home. I agree that SHU is a streaky team. Gotta cut their legs out early. It's not that I don't think we can come back from a halftime deficit against them. It's more that they feed on hitting shots IMO. If we can disrupt that and also capitalize on the bad decisions of a guy Like Whitehead, we should win comfortably. If we don't do that, they have plenty of guys that can get hot and bury us early. The Hoyas have to come out knowing that this is a big game. No let up.

This analogy works up to the point where you realize Harrison does this occasionally and is probably first team All Big East and Whitehead does it pretty much every game and is probably the biggest team cancer in the Big East.

Was at the SHU game yesterday, and the Hoyas should dominate. SHU came out hot from the field and took a 15 point lead, but as soon as things started to get difficult, the team completely lost focus and stopped playing together. Dunn is a tough match-up but he was doing whatever he wanted and PC outrebounded SHU by nearly 20. It was tough to watch the SHU fans and team know the collapse was coming and the frustration was evident in the building and even on the SHU sideline.
The Hoyas should come out strong fueled by Senior Day and never look back. This has the potential to be a blowout from the start. SHU wants the season to end or at least just start over in the BET. They will have very little willingness to play team ball unless things go well early for them. It is up to us to make sure that does not happen.

Anyone know why FS1 was promoting the game to be at 11:30 instead of noon? I know there are pre-game senior day ceremonies but the official game time hasn't been changed has it? GUHoyas.com still shows a noon start.

I wonder if Tyler Admas can go out for the tip-off then a quick time out.

I think it is on Fox, not FS1. At least that is what I hope and I checked the listings. Same channel as the SJU game. SJU-Nova after us.
