So does he project as a SG or SF? Can play either in college but more likely a 2G in the NBA, much like Peak?
I have no problem with someone committing early. Especially then the coaches can tell him directly what he needs to improve on. (Jumpshooting).

Good but a really high ceiling and Yes... I understand rankings have their problems, but they can be useful for those of us not plugged into the recruiting scene in determining what type of prospect we're looking at. Doesn't look like the more comprehensive rankings aren't out yet for 2017, so maybe some of the gurus here can provide some insight where he'd be ranked. So, in terms of Foster's talent, is he a top 50 player? A top 75 player? Is he similar (in talent level) to Copeland, where he's a top 30 guy with potential to be an NBA lottery pick if he puts it all together? Top 150 (Floor) with lots of potential to move up...

Casual speculating he might be a 2016 re-class. This might explain early commit and fill one of the needed guard positions.

I would love to see us land bracey and c jones for 2016 and have foster join in 2017. Even if copeland does go pro with all our options in the frontcourt i prefer we land as many guards as possible and then if cope does go use his schollie on a another center to back up govan. I think i still fear the Domingo effect.

Hollis also didn't really have a fit that first year if I recall. I just don't see where the early entry makes sense unless the kid is really old for his class.

Not the type of nonsense you want to see a supposed heavy lean re-tweeting on the eve of his commitment date:

Not the type of nonsense you want to see a supposed heavy lean re-tweeting on the eve of his commitment date: They conveniently forget the loss from 2 yrs ago. Hopefully Tyler sees through their foolishness.

Not the type of nonsense you want to see a supposed heavy lean re-tweeting on the eve of his commitment date: Playing faster against a much weaker schedule is a selling point I guess? Anyone getting amped for the Fordham game yet?

He's just retweeting everything anyone tweets at him. There's plenty of pro georgetown retweets too.

Are they seriously saying that Richmond is more of a hoops town than DC??? I think they are saying that VCU bball is the biggest show in town. Pretty much the only show, while at Gtown we are at best 4th/5th.

Okay- good point, and thanks. All the more reason why DC is a better place to attend college.

You have to think that Shaka Smart's departure has to hurt their chances. Sure, Foster has been considering them regardless, but whenever a new coach comes into the picture you truly have no idea how it will shake out. Despite the impression you would have gotten from reading HoyaTalk after several of last year's losses, JTIII is a proven coach.

Are we even sure he has a Hoya offer? Or is he just trying to create drama where VCU is only choice?
