Kid got some legit springs. Nice 2 foot jumper too. Could be some posters coming in 2018.

Smooth, athletic, graceful; lots of upside with this kid. I think his jumper will determine his ceiling.

Tyler Foster, Coppin PAL The Georgetown commit (Pictured, Right) was one of the most high-profile players to take part in the event and showed glimpses of what has made him such a touted prospect. Foster is a long, athletic 2017 wing who excels at putting the ball on the floor and getting to the rim, and showed his versatility while averaging 12 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2 assists per game. Foster is headed from Gilman to South Kent (CT) for his final two years of high school. (MH)

Question
With all the talk of adding 1 or 2 guards in 2016 class, five or six guards would be on the roster in the 16-17 season. The 16-17 roster would consist of PG Campbell(Sr.), PG Mosely(So.),SF/SG Johnson(Jr.), potentially SG Peak(Sr.) & 1 or 2 2016 commits (So)
What is his upside or perceived role be on the team if other additions are added in 2016? Potential starter as upperclassmen or just guard depth throughout his career?

Same as Kaleb I love this kids developing game and potential. I think Tyler is a huge get for the Hoyas and is going to have a stud for us. I've seen Foster play in person and he flat out can get to the rim, has a developing mid range game and can knock down the 3. Reminds of what LJ Peak game was at the same age. Remember, Peak didn't really blow up until his Junior Year when he transferred to Chicago and played with PW and Okafor at Whitney Young. Foster is a little taller then Peak but Peak has a little longer wingspan so it evens out. Both are extremely athletic. The one criticism of Foster I would have is that he doesn't play hard every minute, every play but that can come as he matures. Foster is still very much under the national radar even though he is committed to the Hoyas but that will change at his new school like it did for Peak when he transferred to Whitney Young his Junior year.
