Beautiful camera work and direction. Best video I've seen about the program.

Thanks for the link Dan. I had missed the first few minutes when it aired. Much appreciated.

I rarely post. But I just can't remain silent after that.
Great stuff. Thanks for bringing that to our attention, Dan; I never would have known that it even existed.
Daughter waiting to hear if she will be admitted. (FYI -- she 's the type who WILL go to the home games...tell that to the admissions office.....)

Great video. I especially love the segment at the end that keyed off the off-screen producer's (?) question - "Didn't you say you would never do one of these access shows?"

Very well produced video that provides some great insights into JT3. Once again, I was reminded what an outstanding representative he is of Georgetown University - AND a very successful coach. I believe the best is yet to come for JT3 and for GU.
Make sure you take the 20 minutes to watch this. You will be glad you did.

Best part was the emphasis on the family. Very well done.

Just watched. Really well done. Well worth the time. I hope the basketball success continues because it is really hard not to like and root for our coach. Class all the way.

Thanks tashoya. Appreciate.
As an '82 alum, I perceive the hoops program as being a cultural centerpiece of GU. It is sad (to me) that the momentum and intensity of the student body's support has waned over the years (though it waxed as well at some points). Nonetheless, at the core, one can still find the JT's, the traditions, the faithful and the spirit.
It's a lot to be proud of; to be a part of.....
Now win, gabnabbit!

Hope all goes well for your daughter. I feel a little envious, because I really wanted my daughter to go to Georgetown. She ended up staying close to home at Emory. I'm not all mad.

Great video. I was pleasantly surprised it was more about III's family and influential people in his life than anything on the court. Excellent quality with a great story to tell. Very good for the school and depicts the human side of these coaches, which is often lost among all the wins and losses and everyday recruiting battles.

Wow! What an honest, intimate, and penetrating look at a man, father, and coach! I am amazed that JTIII granted such access. Hope this all bodes well for March.

Loved the video. Nice to see a different side of JTIII. Loving son, father and husband. He's a class act and the players reflect his personality and show a lot of respect for him and the program. He has a quiet depth about him, but he is all business and extremely smart. I love the way at the end of games when we're up a lot of points he takes the players out early, not to run up the score like some other coaches do. Just one example of a classy coach who teaches his players good sportsmanship. Wishing him and the team the best for the rest of the season.

I was going to watch just the beginning parts that I missed when it aired but I got suckered in. Juxtapose that vignette with the thread about what it would take for Coach Thompson's seat to get warm. Agree or disagree with his decisions and like or dislike the way he coaches but that's the type of person we want representing our university and guiding and teaching our fellow Hoyas. I want our guys to win as much as anyone here but I feel lucky that that's the type of man that is probably one of the most prominent faces of our school.
As an aside, it struck me how much Coach's son John looks like his grandfather. And, since she's rarely on camera, it was really great to see Mrs. Thompson looking so healthy.
