Probably the greatest race in Georgetown History. Amos Bartelsmeyer, Ahmed Bile (breaking his previous PR), Ryan Manahan, and Mike Lederhouse all go under four. May be the greatest college feat in mile history.

Not to be outdone, Oklahoma State tried to duplicate the Hoyas effort, but they came up short with "only" of their runners going under four at the Iowa State meet.

Other Hoyas who broke 4 minute after they graduated from Georgetown. Kevin King, Rich Kenah and Chris Lukezic. Quite a list.

And I believe Kevin is the father of present Hoya tracksters, Brian and Charlie. To add to the mile lore of yesterday GU alumna Treniere Clement Moser finished 2nd in the Millrose Wanamaker Women's mile. And John Gregorek, running for Oregon after graduating from Columbia, and son of Hoya great John, slipped under 4 minutes yesterday too.
