DePaul @ PC on 1/27/15 likely to be rescheduled

Dear Friar Fans:

Due to the impending major snowstorm, which is predicted to hit Rhode Island on Monday night and Tuesday, Providence College is working with the Big East Conference, Fox Sports 1, DePaul Athletics, the State of Rhode Island and the Dunkin' Donuts Center on the potential rescheduling of the men's basketball game versus DePaul. The game, which was originally scheduled for Tuesday, January 27 vs. DePaul at 9:00 p.m., could be seriously affected by this severe winter storm. The safety of our fans, staff and student-athletes is of the utmost importance. We hope to have a final decision on the date and the time of the game by Monday. When we have more information on the status of the game we will send an email to all season ticket holders and fans who have purchased tickets to this game.

Game has been rescheduled to Thursday, at 2:00 pm, tentatively at Dunkin' Donuts Center; if the Fleetwood Mac concert, scheduled for the Dunk on Wednesday, is rescheduled to Thursday, the game will be played on campus at Alumni Gym. The game will be televised on Fox Sports 1.
