I am a bit surprised how well he moves and how well he dribbles at that size. I also enjoyed the blocks that were actually 'catches'.

The Top 5: 1) Keldon Johnson - The younger brother of 2015 Georgetown commit Kaleb Johnson, Keldon set the all-time VHSL scoring record for a freshman this year, and he had multiple 40-point games. He's strong, he has good feel, and he knows how to manufacture offense. 2) Brandon Slater - Somewhat similar to former Paul VI wing Josh Reaves, Slater has a load of upside in a ridiculously long 6'5 frame. He's already an impactful defender, and we think he's more skilled than people may realize. 3) Ian Steere - His physical attributes are off the charts, and he showed good offensive development throughout the year. Steere is a major paint presence already who can protect the rim and convert from 15 feet and in. 4) Rasir Bolton - A highly skilled point guard with a good basketball IQ, Bolton can facilitate, score from the perimeter, and make plays below the arc. 5) David McCormack - Also a football player, McCormack has some of the best long-term ability in this class (on both the football field and basketball court). He has great hands and very good feet in a massive 6-foot-9 frame. McCormack can become a go-to guy down low. - See more at: www.vantagehoops.com/news_article/show/493220?referrer_id=1102873#sthash.cBkqPnzZ.dpuf

When was the last time we had brothers on the same roster? The Duren brothers (John and Lonnie, 1976-80). The Kelly brothers (Brian, Dan) missed each other by a year (Brian 1990-92, Dan 1993).

EJ Williams 6'10 Center #1 player in Ohio for his age group
Before even entering high school Williams showed off his potential at multiple national camps, and that combined with grassroots ball has made him a prospect that is already known by college coaches in and out of the region. On Saturday after watching his QCP 15u team play at the All-Ohio Super Sixteen in Columbus, Prep Hoops Ohio caught up with Williams to discuss this early stage of his recruitment, as well as what he wants to improve on in the coming months before his sophomore season. “I’m receiving interest from Detroit, Xavier, Stanford invited me to their camp, West Virginia, Virginia and a couple others I think,” Williams told us. “From being from here I would of course like to hear from Ohio State, but I also really like Xavier and Coach Chris Mack. I’d also like to hear from Georgetown because they’re known for having good bigs.

Keldon Johnson, 6'4" SG, Park View-South Hill Class: 2018 AAU: Team Loaded VA 15U
The Skinny: Don't refer to him as just the 'little brother,' anymore because the younger sibling of former Carlisle star Kaleb Johnson, who's headed to Georgetown, is carving out his own niche rather quickly. As a freshman, Keldon set the VHSL scoring record for a freshman and there might not be a more natural, effortless scorer on the 15-Under circuit in Virginia than him.
Smooth with big-time potential, Johnson already has the height and may grow to 6-foot-7. He's a bit right-hand dominated, but James Harden in the NBA almost exclusively goes left and that didn't stop him from being runner-up in the MVP voting this year. James Madison, UVA and Wisconsin are already expressing interest in Johnson, who's bound to only get better from here, especially as he starts to go from scorer to playmaker when his decision-making improve, something that'll come with maturity.

Awaiting ImageKeldon Johnson Park View HS / 6'4" / 0 lbs Position SG Interest 0 There’s no question that Keldon Johnson shone very brightly at this event as well. The shooting guard also performs impressive scoring moves like two-dribble drives that he finishes with a stepback jumper along the baseline, and he’s very effective retaining body control while stopping short on drives and lofting in short bankers. Johnson is one of those guys everyone will describe as a natural scorer, and they’ll all be correct. This Virginia native ensures that the state’s hot talent run will continue into the Class of 2018. www.scout.com/college/basketball/recruiting/story/1551874-super-soph-recap
