Wasn't sold on him at first but am coming around now. I like that he got the better of Franklin Howard too. I see him as a lefty Jonathan Wallace type....

His efficiency is not bad, not top-shelf, but not bad. I still like the fact that he's a lefty and a "All Met" local.

Ako Adams of the DC Thunder, and Anthony Cowan were dynamic down the stretch against Billups Elite. In the last game of pool play Billups ran into a very talented DC Thunder team, which featured 4 star recruit and Maryland commit Anthony Cowan. The Thunder dominated Billups for the majority of the game in front of many coaches from the east coast’s top programs including; Duke, Pittsburgh and Virginia. Billups was dominated on the perimeter by Cowan, and fellow point guard Ako Adams who is a 3 star prospect himself. coloradohsbasketball.blogspot.com/2015/04/colorado-hawks-billups-elite-player.html

I like him because he's a local and a lefty but what does he need to put him over the top? At the moment he's my dark horse.

makeplayz.com/hoop-group-southern-jam-fest-recap-dennis-smith-thon-maker-more/?cbg_tz=240Ako Adams (DC Thunder) This kid can shoot. Ako shot the ball well in many ways this weekend and consistently got buckets for his team. DC Thunder ran numerous plays designed for Ako to shoot the rock. In a semifinal game against Boo Williams, his team DC Thunder was up by 5 points at halftime. But in the second half Ako was the guy that separated his team from Boo Williams, making three pointer after three pointer and leading them to a 30 point victory. Overall he is a smart basketball player who can score in many ways.

www.cityofbasketballlove.com/news_article/show/534647?referrer_id=1566508Ako Adams (2016/Bishop O’Connell, Va.) showed off a lethal stroke from behind the arc on Wednesday night, even knocking down a half-court heave with time running out to end the first half. Adams has been on a good run of late, leading his DC Thunder squad to the championship game in the silver bracket at Adidas Gauntlet last week in Atlanta, Ga. and picking up three new offers at the event: George Mason, Rice, and East Tennessee State. The 6-foot-2 scoring point guard is also receiving some high-major interest from the likes of Miami, Stanford, Virginia, Notre Dame, Georgetown and Temple.Would love to see the staff show some more interest with Adams.. Jones should be the top priority no doubt but they can use some other targets..

It sounds like the high majors are holding off on offers for now, but he seems like a solid prospect. I trust the staff here. It will be interesting to see what develops.
