Weird that he would be at the event last night then pop elsewhere the next day. Agree with the comment that it's strange timing, though obviously not a strange end result.

Apparently Ron just tweeted that we did not offer. Source misspoke?

That's the nature of recruiting. It makes perfect sense, maybe he was down to Pitt and GU and his visit made him realize he didn't really want to be in DC? Simple as that

For the record, we never offered. Not that it would have mattered, sounds like he had his mind made up. In any case, we really need to check our sources before putting out information.

Eric Bossi and Mike Bohlin (runs the Hoyas 247 site) both tweeted he was offered. I don't pretend to have any sources other than what I see actually reported. Oh well.

I find this to be pretty funny in context to the post right above it!

Haha, so Stalling kept all three from decommitting, but they all wanted out after their 1st year...

Manigault would be a good addition to the Hoyas.

Barely got off the bench at Pitt. Love the bloodlines the original goat.

Manigault would be a good addition to the Hoyas. I was thinking along the same lines when I seen his name come up on the transfer list. But to be honest it would just create another bottleneck at the SF/PF position and we don't need anymore transfer drama.

Also at this point don't know who's still on the roster or even who the coach is or will be when Manigault is eligible again.

I was under the impression he was a banger PF/undersized C during his recruitment?

His skill set translates more to the 5 at the college level. To me he's an Emitt Holt (Providence) type.
