Butler has apparently signed Chris Holtmann to a multi-year contract to continue as head coach of the Bulldogs; he was named interim coach in October when Brandon Miller took a medical leave of absence after one year. No word on whether the university and Miller have reached any accommodation on his contract, as he was permitted until the Federal Family Leave Act to return to the head coach position during the first week of January (at the end of his twelve-week leave).

Very good move for Butler and the Big East. He's done quite well and deserved the job. Whatever happened to Miller - emotional issues perhaps? -- there is no indication of any untoward behavior on his part. I wish him well too.
