Kid had a great year as a FR. Also good in the classroom.
Disappointing end to his time at Citadel, but doesn't seem like a kid to shy away from.
Sure he'll have lots of suitors.

Hope we can at least reach out and check in if Ewing and Co. like what they see on the tape.

Coming out of high school he was unranked, though I have also read he was a 2* player. Had a strong freshman season as a 6'1" pg who was the Southern Conference Freshman of the Year. From what I have read he was asked to leave the team by the Citadel Coach but was apparently unhappy anyway. Not aware that he was recruited by the Hoya staff at the time.

Thanks for the followup info...sounds like there could be some issues...but appears we have no involvement anyway.

What about Jalen Harris from La. Tech?
6-4 guard who was averaging over 15 per game before he left, 16-36 from 3..

Seen him play many times. He is athletic and can score in volume when he is on, but tends to be a liability at both ends if not scoring. He was also coming off the bench most games lately, and has had a couple of disciplinary issues during his career.

Thanks! If so, then that is a strong NO.

Plus he was never very interested in playing defense. But he can light it up when he is on!
