Yes. Please. Assume he would enroll mid-year as well so he would be eligible after first semester next year

Getting Cunliffe would be a major coup. JT3 and staff should have a long conversation with him about his expectations and GU's expectations about earning pt. Team chemistry is most important, and we do not want another player sulking in the bench and transferring because his expectations were not met. This season we have seen how that can affect games.

Great point! This article really gave me concern that expectations need to be in line for this pairing to work: www.azcentral.com/story/sports/ncaab/asu/2016/12/15/asus-bobby-hurley-sam-cunliffes-transfer-not-total-surprise/95495844/"Cunliffe hasn't always been patient during his basketball career. Growing up in Seattle, he played at three different high schools. During a preseason interview with azcentral sports, he admitted that he didn't always have the best attitude, something he chalked up to immaturity. He felt like he grew up his senior year at Rainier Beach High, where he won a state championship and was The Seattle Times Player of the Year." Given that Josh Smith also always seemed self-reflective, yet never fixed his issue, it makes me concerned that Cunliffe has now transferred 3 times in high school and college. He definitely has thus far put himself ahead of team goals, and we more than anything want to make sure he puts the team first if he joins Georgetown (knowing that individual accolades will come with team success). Otherwise, we'll have chemistry issues and worse performance even with more talent.

Saw he was suspended earlier this year.. don't know y or if it's related but he was basically their offense as a Frosh the games I saw O.T. Why is St. John's recruiting him? They have 2 small 1st year kids in Ponds & Lovette(who look to be very good), Mussini isn't exactly big either & he's a soph.. Not to mention there's a good chance Justin Simon ends up being the best facilitator on the team next season.. Seems like over kill to me but it is a guards game now..

Craig Victor also seems to have been dismissed at LSU. He may be too problematic to pursue.

ESPN's Biancardi suggesting it's either going to be Nebraska or NC State... PaulBiancardi Paul Biancardi N.C State & Nebraska seem like possible destinations. t.co/R0fpTL949V

Watching the IU/UNLV game the other night, I was going to post that I felt UNLV was going to have some kids leaving in particular Goodluck & Morgan. If I remember correctly the staff was involved with Goodluck but to what extent I can't remember. I wonder will they at least kick the tires and reach out to him. I know he hasn't done much at UNLV but I blame that more on Dave Rice and his just roll the ball out there player development and game planning! I think Goodluck jumped ship ahead of the inevitable Rice firing. I also think Dwayne Morgan will be leaving by the end of the year as they have already recruited over him with Derrick Jones Jr. I know we were in his final 3 along with the twerps. If Copeland/Peak leaves for the association at the end of the year, I think the staff should definitely go after Dwayne Morgan. Morgan is a DMV kid and PW will be there while Morgan sits out a year from transferring. From what I've seen watching UNLV play so far this year, Morgan is next to transfer. @jonrothstein UNLV grad transfer Dwayne Morgan will visit St. John's at the end of the month, per a source. Eligible in December.

Is there any word on any players announcing they are transferring mid year so they can play second semester next year. I would think there might be some players who are unhappy with their team/coach or playing time situation that might be looking for a different opportunity. I would think anyone considering this type of move would need to announce they are transferring in the next few weeks and enroll at a new school before the start of the spring semester if they want to be eligible for the second semester next year. Finding a PG who has some college experience and a few years of eligibility left might be a good option for the Hoyas. I know I watch some of the Indiana game the other night and it seems like Curtis Jones, who the Hoyas were on his short list, gets very little time at Indiana. NC State has a PG who is technically their starter but is losing time to a freshman and might want another opportunity. I would think a player like these guys would look at the Georgetown need for a PG next year and view that as an attractive option.

We lose Mulmore and Dickerson, but gain McClung. I agree that we still need another ball handler. Blair is a SG. I would really like to see Mosely step it up, but I don't think he has the tools today to run the offense. That and he needs to become more of an offensive threat.
