Interesting considering they had Pryor as a top 5 (I think #3) transfer in their summer rankings...
ESPN Bias!!! Haha jk

Does Dwayne Payne still have eligibility? I assume that any studs from ITT Tech who now need a home are currently enrolling in Syracuse.

It appears as though there were academic issues at USF with multiple players. If that's the case with McMurray also, it's likely that the staff won't look at him too closely.

Arizona State transfer Sam Cunliffe will visit Kansas on Jan. 2, his father told ESPN. Will take visit during the Kansas State game.

Seems like we would be in the market for a 5th year wing or center for added depth. This is especially true if LJ bounces. Gotta have some scoring punch.

Georgetown guard Isaac Copeland? I guess he chose to transfer because we forced him to play out of position.

Some interesting names on that list. Josh Robinson has some skills and is pretty much all of Austin Peay's offense. Tyler Williams is a good three point shooter. Also, Dante Williams is a 7 foot redshirt frosh. Always intriguing. But I don't think we have any chance there as it sounds like he may be transferring in order to be closer to home.

Joe Nixon and Oklahoma might challenge your "worst reason possible"😉

Sima & Nichols are both intriguing but seem like head cases so wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole.

Georgetown guard Isaac Copeland? I guess he chose to transfer because we forced him to play out of position. Oddly, your statement is sort of true. What's the position at which he'd excel with his current set of skills? He's not laterally quick enough nor does he have the handle or the shot for a 3. He's not strong enough nor does he have the post game for a 4. I think a bit of it is that he's probably been caught in limbo depending on what Georgetown needed from him based on the other personnel that was healthy or available because Isaac does have a lot of natural ability and was, likely, expected to be best able to adjust to the needs of his team at the time. Which, if true, is a crappy position for player to be forced into. There are only so many things that can be improved over an offseason. Not that I saw any improvement in Isaac's game but it's possible that he was trying to prep himself to play both the 3 and the 4 and failed at both as a result because the coaches didn't make it clear to him what role they'd need him to play. I'd guess, in the end Isaac would be best served by prepping himself to play the 4 but he'd have to put a lot of muscle on for his body type do to it effectively. Regardless, he needs to get his shots up in the gym. He had good mechanics in HS and he got lost somewhere in that facet. I think it was a contributing factor to the deterioration of his confidence and, to a degree, his game on the whole. He always looked more engaged on D when his offense was working for him. He needs to reverse that and also nail down his mechanics. I'm really hoping that we're wondering how the hell we let him go whenever he's next eligible to play wherever he goes. He's got plenty of potential. Fingers crossed that he realizes every bit of it.

Sam said he wanted to be closer to home which is Seattle. While I would love to have him I don't like our chances if that truly is the case.

I'm a fan of this move, the kid has ability(obviously).. The staff should point directly to Peak & Pryor(obviously again)
