Tremendous amount of whining/moaning/complaining/threatening on the Syracuse boards (if you are interested, check out the game thread at syracusefan.com, starting at about page 18) about the officiating in the 'Cuse/'Nova game. Very amusing, especially when you consider the source of the vitriol.
They are convinced that they will be fine with respect to an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament, given the strength of their ACC schedule.
To paraphrase my late grandmother, "They should live so long."

It's heaven when the Cuse loses. Especially when giving up a big lead. Cooney couldn't be more annoying. How's the Big East taste now Cuse?

Iowa State won, 83-54, over Drake. Notre Dame defeated Purdue 67-51. Xavier leads Auburn, 38-25, at the half in Auburn AL. Finally, Texas Southern (1-8) and Michigan State (8-3) are tied 55 all, and going to overtime in East Lansing MI. Aside from the Indiana win against Butler, not a good day for the Big Ten (losses for Ohio State, Rutgers, Michigan and Purdue so far).

Final in East Lansing in overtime: The mighty Tigers of Texas Southern, coached by former Indiana coach Mike Davis, improve to 2-8, with a 71-64 win over #25 Michigan State.
Maybe not NJIT over Michigan, but awfully close.

Another overtime game, in Auburn AL: Xavier rallied late to tie Auburn at 73-73 after blowing a big halftime lead.

More free court time in Auburn. After one overtime, Xavier and Auburn are tied 83-83.

Seems like Syracuse has the annoying white player recruiting pipeline on lock down. McNamara, Devendorf, Cooney... Good to see McNamara is back on the Syracuse bench to help mold the future generations of Cuse scholars.

Hold on, I do not believe that it is appropriate, grammatically and accurately, to use the terms "Cuse" and "scholars" in the same sentence without interjection of a negative adjective.

If there's one thing we can do, it's complain. We could win another national championship and there would be complaints in the thread after the title game.

And the complaints will undoubtedly include the failure to give the third-string center significant minutes during crunch time.

Watching Robert Upshaw for Washington this year makes me upset that even though he had all the off court issues. He is becoming the player I thought he would become and he is one of the best bigs in the country.

He then later transferred to Washington.

We had him right now we would be unbeatable. He is averaging 4 blocks a game in like 20 mpg for UW. Also 11 and 7. He is gonna be a 1st round pick probably this year now.
