I doubt that it had anything to do with any recruit that GTown was sniffing around. I would bet that he wants KU and they reached out and told him to wait. KU is waiting on Troy. We have a minimum of 3 schollies available for '17 and no committed recruits. We may have up to 6 open schollies depending on our season but I would put a paycheck on 4. Our O always features two wings. So I can see Rafus and Walker in the same class......

Seton Hall board stating they pulled their offer.

Wow...any discussion of rationale? This recruitment has many strange twists and turns.

Wow...any discussion of rationale? This recruitment has many strange twists and turns. Nope and it's not entirely clear if they pulled their offer and that's what caused him to delay or if his delay caused them to pull the offer.

Seton Hall technically doesn't have any scholarships left for 2017..
However they've been trying very hard to land a lead guard for this class, they're being mentioned as interested in Moultrie too..
So it looks as if they don't have a spot for Rafus at this time..

All very bizarre...thanks to everyone for the updates. I wonder whether the Hoyas still are after him or not...

Its also possible that we've said we'll consider him in the spring based on his year's performance/conduct, etc. if he chooses not to commit elsewhere in the fall...pure speculation on my part.

Let's just say we are being very selective. That said, there are a couple of kids that we are going at hard.

I'd say we have a very solid chance at getting Walker and Moultrie, who now appear to be getting a hard push from the staff.

Bump****** I still want this kid. If we get Walker, Rafus and Walker running the wings and finishing dimes from Tremont would be great to see.....

Let's see what happens. I would guess that if he plays well and performs well in school, the Hoyas may have interest in the Spring. If he does not want to wait around for that- so be it.

I do not think it is likely to happen, but if he shows improvement off and on the court, there is no downside to taking a hard look in the Spring if he remains unsigned.

I don't want kids who slow play us when they have no other options. With the season we could potentially have there will be much better talent available down the line. Easy swerve.

I agree with YaBoy. he is a talent but I just do not want guys who may be more interested in stats then wins. Also if Summers frustrated you then kid will have you pulling your hair out.
