It's like the basketball version of speed dating... I don't know anything about the kids history, except that he was getting minutes for Missouri, but if he is a kid that turns and runs away every time things don't his way, then the Hoyas can find a better option.

I would be very cautious but Patrick is The Boss and if he says yes to this kid, so be it. Clearly he has talent.

feel bad about this kid. he clearly has some really bad advice givers around him. even if its al independently his decision, someone should have stepped up and pointed out how bad this looks.

He is acknowledged as an excellent pg, even on Mizz board (based on previous threads). I seem to recall a clammoring on this board for Hoyas to sign him. He went elsewhere. Some think he, and for lack of another word, is immature, but very talented. If he were to reconsider the Hoyas, Patrick's chastisement of Derrickson might be instructional. If he's game, and willing to adopt the culture, we could use him. He seems very capable, improvisational, and is flamboyant with the ball.

I was a huge fan of Blake Harris throughout high school, but I don't know if his jump ship at the slightest inconvenience mindset is going to be able to handle getting chewed out by big pat...

His stats say he's not worth the trouble. Under 4 ppg.

It will be interesting to see how that works out.

It will be interesting to see how that works out. I agree. NC State has that Beverly kid who has played well at the point for them and history seems to point to the fact that Harris is going to want to be the starter. Should be interesting.
