Well deserved! Congratulations Isaac! I have a feeling it's not going to be your last ROW honor.

This kid is a lottery pick after next year if he goes. I hope he doesn't but there's no doubt in my mind if he goes he will be a top 10 pick. He does virtually everything well similar to Otto yet he's an elite athlete. You heard it here first!

After the first 10 games of the season, I didn't expect production like this from Copeland this season..
His growth has been awesome.
i loved his rebounding against SJU.

I loved the 0 turnovers and 1 foul. Size, athleticism, skill, and smarts. Pretty good combo.

Ike said in the post game that it was Coach Tyler who told him not settle for the midrange jumper, and to attack the basket after the shot fake...
Coach Tyler? Like the sound of that….

Is there a point this season where he could become our best/most important player? If he keeps up this rate of growth game to game I think he could get close.

At the least, he could become the most well-rounded in terms of all of the things he's able to do. But, to be fair, DSR has been great this year. It sure is fun to even be able to have that thought though, isn't it?

I consider him our most important player because when he is playing well, the Hoyas are much tougher to beat. DSR is going to be there and is our most outstanding player, Josh is a force but inconsistent, if Cope can become consistently good he takes this team to another level because of all the different things he can do. It is an exciting development to see that his potential has started to become production!

Yaboy, did Ike refer to him as Coach Tyler? I was kidding when I wrote that, but it has a nice ring to it. Ike's quote just says Tyler and the reporter added a the word teammate in brackets. Sorry if I confused you, but you can use it anyway. Isn't it great that the players have other sets of eyes that they trust? Keep it up and good for Ike that he listens.

With him playing the way he is, teams know they'll have to guard him out to the three-point line and that in and of itself opens this offense wide open.
For that reason alone, he'll be our most important player going forward.

Ike did call him coach, then backtracked and essentially said I don't even know what to call him. It was clear that he views Tyler as a mentor, leader and knowledgeable leader. Call it whatever you want, he is a gem of a roll model for our guys.

He can just do everything and he frees DSR up more to do his thing. We go as far as Ike will take us IMO.
