Can someone perhaps explain to me why Jabril is playing right now? I can't 'Bril may be the heart of this team - but with White and Copeland showing so strong, he and Bowen better step up or their roles will diminish very quickly.

I cant believe Bowen did that. The worst thing that should happen is that you let the guy clobber you. He out ran himself.

The Bowen missed lay up was the game. Damnit.

The Bowen missed lay up was the game. Damnit. Actually, those two straight defensive nap-fests which led to uncontested layups killed us.

GTOWN > Butler. Period. Turnovers, FTs

Bowen and Trawick killed us today. 1-2 in this tournament is nothing to crow about. We will have few chances for signature wins the rest of the way.

Get ready for the Hoyas roller coaster. That was a bad performance. Missed FTs, too many TOs again, awful transition defense. Fatigue, emotional letdown, youth, refs whatever it was there is much to be learned from this. Hopefully we are humbled.
Does Butler go Top 25 Monday?

This was extremely disappointing. Big Dog is right. The story is now Butler instead of us. Doubt we will even be ranked. With our depth, we had no business losing this game.

Couldn't he play in place of Jabril? Probably not for defense This team needs offense though.. 3rd HM team and the 3rd time under 70.. And I'm not so sure his D is that far behind Jabril's honestly.. I still don't like DSR being the lead but I will now acknowledge that I was wrong.. Jabril can't handle the job & Tre isn't yet ready..

If this team thinks they can take anyone lightly they had better wake the hell up. This one was reminiscent of some recent NCAA performances.

FF, Butler isn't a signature win opportunity blown. The upperclassmen have to do better; can't expect the freshmen to carry this team every game. Props to Copeland and White for keeping us in it.

Very disappointing! Gave the game away with poor defense, missed free throws, turnovers and bonehead plays.
