No matter the outcome, this game is invaluable preparation against hyphenated and or otherwise exotically named teams, should come in handy at tourney time!

8 for Smith, 8 for Hopkins. Points coming from inside. 9 points on 3's.

Just once, I wish III would get them in a huddle and tell them to scrap the Princeton, push the ball, and play ball naturally w/o thinking. We'd be up 15

This game has a "March Madness" feel to it...all we are missing is the CBS intro/outro music. They have the same uniforms and colors as Florida Gulf Coast. Announcers are now bringing up Florida Gulf Coast...speaking of the Devil.

Corpus Christi are focussing on Peak. He's getting doubled and tripled when he drives to the basket.

Offense hasn't been the issue today. They are getting good shots and hitting them, though we did tighten up on that somewhat as the half wore on.

same issues most of III's teams have had. too many turnovers and allow too many offensive rebounds.

Turnovers and sloppy O .. They are a scrappy bunch and are catching many breaks.. These are simply growing pains for our young hoyas. They will figure it out and come out in the second half ready.

Same result in the half court....the Hoyas get better looks w/o running the system. Rewind and count... This is just wrong. Besides, you cant run if you don't get stops or rebounds. Defense was terrible much of this half. I'd like to see us go zone or at least stop over helping and trying to trap.

Defense was Edited poor. They got way too many easy buckets.

All things considering...everyone should be happy this game is tied at halftime Texas A&M Corpus Christi outplayed us...and with the extra attention of their defense, L.J. Peak has come back to earth. Game tracker below: THE NO SPIN ZONE

As III mentioned before this season started, last years team was one of the worst, if not the worst, defensive team he's ever had...can any of ya,ll put a finger on that? I feel like DSR and Trawick let guards penetrate a bit too easily, thoughts?
