And two of those game are being played outside the state of NY, I am impressed, though I'm assuming the Michigan road game was a mandated ACC/Big 10 challenge thing. Would love to see Cuse miss the tourney. That would just lead to the NCAA coming down with sanctions from its investigation that would include a ban on 2015 postseason play - so Magoo would not have to suffer the indignity of watching his team tank on his eponymous court.

Seton Hall beats Nevada 68-60. Good result for the conference.

Lower Canada Community College 66, Iowa 63. Final.
Boeheim only played seven players in the game; the Orange shot less than 43% from the field.
This is a team that won't make much noise this season.

Boston U is giving Kentucky a game. But how does Kentucky play 16 players? Three or four walkons???

Under 3 minutes left in the first half, and #8 Florida is trailing Louisiana-Monroe 29-19 in Gainesville. Still early, but a bit surprising.

Florida looking like a potential bad loss instead of a potential good win. They kind of stink.

Florida has two starters sidelined for this game (Eli Carter, a Rutgers transfer who is out with a sprained left foot, and Dorian Finney-Smith, who is out with hairline fractures in two fingers on his left non-shooting hand). It is uncertain if either will be ready for the Battle 4 Atlantis. . .meaning they may miss the Gators/Hoyas game.

Florida needs overtime to subdue Louisiana-Monroe, 61-56. Not impressive at all.

Yeah, would be nice to catch a break and get Florida and Kansas while they are still not playing well.

Florida junior guard Eli Carter will undergo an MRI on Saturday to determine the extent of the left foot injury he sustained in practice on Thursday. "There's no break," Donovan said. "They're concerned with a lisfranc . . . this is the first thing I've ever heard of lisfranc. They want to look into it to I think rule that out or it's just a mid-foot sprain. If it's that (Lisfranc), from what I've heard it's a pretty extensive time for him to be off. And if it's the other one, then they're hoping 8 to 10 days. So today was the X-ray to make sure there was no break and it wasn't. It's not on bad foot, it's on his other foot. So that's probably a good thing. We're just hoping it's the other thing. I think what they're trying to do right now is really dot their I's and cross their T's. And I really appreciate our medical team going to the nth degree to find out exactly what it is to be sure." Carter missed more than a year with a right foot injury that kept him sidelined most of last season. Junior guard Dorian Finney-Smith, who has a hand fracture, did not dress with the team on Friday night and Donovan said he was missing to take care of some academic issues. Asked if those issues could sideline him longer this season, Donovan said "to be determined."Donovan said Carter's injury affected the Gators' offensive performance against ULM Friday night. Because Carter was injured late in practice, Donvovan was forced to bring the team back for a walk-through on Thursday night and adjust the gameplan for Friday night's game. www.tampabay.com/blogs/gators/gators-could-be-without-eli-carter-and-dorian-finney-smith-an-extended/2207518

How can a UVA team that won the ACC last season, made it to the Sweet 16 and is a preseason top ten team for this upcoming season be relegated to ESPN 3 for a game against another team that made it to the 2014 NCAA tournament, George Washington? It is as if ESPN decided only duke, UNC, Syracuse, Louisville and perhaps Notre Dame are the only ACC schools worth televising on its two big networks.

IDK, you schedule it on a Friday night when ESPN has NBA and ESPN2 has the 2K Classic? Shoot, even Duke was playing on truTV last night.
