Sorry to be the poster of such nonsense, but would a dead eye shooter from Kansas fit our program? We could use the class balance as we are currently a little light in numbers in the sophomore class. Probably more likely a target for a school like Creighton but if these dozier goes elsewhere it might be nice to have a guy with some experience.

He was highly regarded out of high school. No question he can shoot, though unclear if he is a point guard.
I'd certainly take a look. He'd come in as a sophomore with two years of practice at a high major level under his belt. He'd either be a valuable guy off the bench or if DSR goes pro (not trying to start a thing, just saying IF), maybe even a starter.
Worth making a phone call, IMO.

He'd have 2.5 years remaining, and have a whole year of practicing with the team. I'd take him in a second as a PG if Dozier falls through.

Were we ever involved recruiting him? Is this just speculation or is there reason to believe we will get involved?

He was rumored to transfer to Creighton some time last year. He'll probably end up there or Wichita St I'd imagine. He's from Wichita.

The guy is tiny. Barely six feet. Highly touted guys who flame out of Kansas like Micah Downs, don't seem to do well when they leave KU. I think there's too many red flags.

Bear in mind GU has 3 years remaining in the series vs. Kansas. Many young men who leave a program when recruited over take into consideration the opportunities to play against the team they leave behind. GU plays KU this season, and the next 2. That's 2 guaranteed matchups against his former teammates/coaches.
By *NO* means am I insinuating the staff is, should be, or could be interested in him, but he may very well have an interest in GU.
Just a thought.

Elite shooter...worth a phone call at the very least.

Elite shooter...worth a phone call at the very least. 31% from 3pt. 34% FG%. That doesn't seem like an elite shooter to me. And he should have had wide open looks with Embidd and Wiggins last year. An elite college shooter is someone like Hollis Thompson who shot 44%, 46% and 43% from 3pt land in his 3 seasons here.

Per the World Wide Leader, Frankamp is transferring to Wichita State, and will be eligible for the second semester of the 2016 season.
