Probably because those are his 2 best offers or was before Tenn. Grew up a Gtown fan is from Raleigh and friendly with Isaac. It doesn’t mean a ton but it helps... We haven't offered?? I know they're different classes, but seems strange Hardnett has an offer and Jackson doesn't. Btw, isn't the fan interaction on the Recruiting board a little more friendly?? lol… It gets feisty here 2! haha Hardnett is closer to a decision so not really. Jackson’s recruiting is just starting tbh

Any real harm in offering (adds good-will) and if he commits we have room for high caliber players. Jackson would be a fine replacement for a DSR-like role (either previous years or this year if we don't get another lead guard).

I’m forever that guy that says “We’ll deal with next year, next year” If you think he can help you, take Hardnett and put the full court press on Quentin also. Jackson can play both guard spots so he’s not restricted to just playing point.

Hopefully we can get some input from blueandgray on what the staff thinks about Jackson and Miller and if they'll be getting offers soon. Both players would be great to get for that class and with the IAC opening it could be possible.

“Stock on the Rise”6’4 ’16 Quentin Jackson Jr. of Carlisle School With the recent department of Five Star PG Blake Harris, Quentin Jackson Jr. will have his turn at being the sole ball handler and floor general. Jackson has excellent size and the demeanor that is needed for a high level PG. He has played the majority of his basketball career for his father who was a standout at DeMatha High School and NC State University. (Not a bad pedigree at all) In the game against Greenfield School, Jackson demonstrated his abilities on the court. He tallied 16 points going 7-12 from the floor, 2-4 from the 3-point line. While his scoring tells part of the story, it doesn’t tell the entire story. Jackson controlled the tempo and seemed to be in full control. His play showcased his leadership abilities, which clearly stood out to us. The next step in his overall development at the PG position would be to cut down on some unforced turnovers. Granted, many were high-risk passes, but it was apparent that Jackson has excellent court vision and a high level understanding of the game. phenomhoopreport.com/phenom-hoops-national-showcase-part-2/

Quentin Jackson, SG, Carlisle School – One of the better scorers of the night was this 6-foot-3 junior guard. Jackson went for 22 points on 10-for-16 shooting, including two three-points. He played some with the ball in his hands, but his mentality was to score, not run a team. He’s able to create space for mid-range pull-ups and finds ways to get into the paint so he can get off floaters. kentucky.scout.com/story/1489106-marshall-county-hoopfest-day-one?s=48#.VIOllXp-I7g.twitter

scouthoops.scout.com/story/1497023-hsot-day-three-notebook?s=75MORE NOTABLESQuentin Jackson, PG/SG, Martinsville (Va.) Carlisle
Jackson appears to be shaping himself from a shooting guard into a combo, with an emphasis on the point. He remains score-first in mentality but clearly has taken strides to facilitate offense and set up others.
For Jackson, this season means production matched with individual development. The junior also appears to have gained quickness and leaping ability. Even as recently as October, I don't believe he could have thrown down a couple of the dunks he did in Carlisle's comeback win over Liberty Christian.
Jackson paced Carlisle with 20 points, shooting 9-18 from the field, and he also added five steals and three assists. The staff needs to get him in for a few games this season..
