phenomhoopreport.com/phenom-hoops-introduction-quention-jackson-62-2016-word-godstackhouse-elite/Evaluation: First of all, Jackson is a cerebral PG with excellent size, strength and advanced skillset. He has led his teams at the AAU and high school level to successful seasons and once again, he showcased his talents at the Scouts Focus All American camp this past week at the campus of the University of Virginia. No matter the venue, Quentin Jackson Jr. has been “consistently good!” We really like his “team first” approach to the game. Jackson is a dual offensive player as he can be the team’s floor general and facilitator or step into a scoring mode if need if. Being the son of a coach, he has inherited a high basketball IQ and understanding of the game. Many times, he is your coach on the floor. Currently, Jackson has thirteen offers on the table for mid majors and interest from high major schools. In our opinion, his size, skillset and winning ways will push the high major interest into high major offers.

2016 Quentin Jackson 6’2 Word of God/Stackhouse Elite Jackson played with a purpose on the first day of this camp. He showed an ability to play in transition but also in the half court setting off of pick and rolls. Although a bit on the thin side, Jackson has good straight line explosion getting to, and finishing above the rim. As a shooter, Jackson showed the ability to knock down shots from range, if he were to slide over and play some off the ball. A scoring point guard at the next level, Jackson did some very good things. phenomhoopreport.com/scouts-focus-america-camp-day-1-recap/

#29 6’2 ’16 Quentin Jackson Jr. of Word of God We have been extremely high on Quentin’s potential for quite some time. His teams always find a way to win and that’s the most important attribute for a PG. He was voted Co-MVP of the camp championship game along with teammate Luke Maye. Coach Roth stated it best, “Quentin has all the tools to be an elite player. He is a great passer and makes others around him better.” Quentin has the size, strength and skillset that will make him an attractive PG at the highest collegiate level, along with his great work ethic and attitude. While he excels on the offensive end of the court, we were equally impressed with his defensive presence as well. phenomhoopreport.com/nc-top-80-team-7-coaches-salter-roth/

No. 111 6’3 2016 Quentin Jackson Jr of Carlisle School (Va) Quentin is an all around guard that is able to morph from position to position as his team needs. Quentin is a shifty guard who displayed ability at all 3 levels, scoring the ball. Coach Keyford Langley stated, “Quentin did it all, he defended, rebounded, scored, assisted, and provided positive feedback to his teammates.” Quentin came into the camp sporting around 10 offers and his play here showed they are well deserved. phenomhoopreport.com/nc-phenom-150-session-2-team-1/

Quentin Jackson, Jr. - Carlisle School His biggest strength is his versatility. A combo guard who can spend time at either the one or the two (and guard either position), Jackson’s aggression as both a scorer and playmaker on Sunday was on full display, as he made plays for himself and others. He has very good burst and strength going toward the rim, a proficient middle game, and he passes well in tight spaces. Jackson played with pace and went 13-18 from the field overall on Sunday, while contributing 4 assists per game. - See more at: www.vantagehoops.com/news_article/show/442049?referrer_id=1102873#sthash.BWWr33py.dpuf

We’ll be without Blake for the first weekend,” Niblett said. “Hopefully, we’ll have him back next week but this gives the other kids an opportunity to showcase what they can do.” Niblett said he feels confident in his backcourt and the depth he has in returning guard Adrian Hatfield and newcomer junior Quentin Jackson Jr. “Quentin is a point guard as well who can move to the shooting guard,” Niblett said. “We’re going to play them (Jackson and Harris) both together (when healthy). No ifs ands or buts about it. With Adrian coming back, who can play either position, I’m very excited about our backcourt.” Jackson has received offers from Tennessee, Harvard, DePaul and College of Charleston and has received interest from Florida State, according to Niblett. “I’m really excited to play at Carlisle,” Jackson said. “It’s going to be new, with new teammates in a new season. The road to the state championship here starts with the first game; we need to come out with energy and win that first game. If we can win the first game it’ll set us up well for the rest of the season.” www.martinsvillebulletin.com/article.cfm?ID=44157

Tennessee offers 2016 combo guard Nov 7, 9:05 AM Tennessee has offered Martinsville (Va.) Carlisle School combo guard Quentin Jackson according to his coach Jason Niblet.
Jackson, 6-4, 195-pounds, has a dose of athleticism and brings a quality game to either guard position. He is ranked No. 147 by 247Sports in the 2016 class.
A standout at the recent NC Phenom 150 Camp, Jackson named Harvard and Houston his top two schools at that point. Stanford is an ideal option because of its blend of high level academics and athletics.
Besides Tennessee, Jackson also has offers from Appalachian State and Campbell. Interest is coming from Clemson, DePaul, Georgetown, N.C. State, Virginia and Virginia Tech as well.

He looks great; good size and athleticism and can run the point. Would love to get him, because Peak might not be around by the time Jackson is a freshman!

Probably because those are his 2 best offers or was before Tenn. Grew up a Gtown fan is from Raleigh and friendly with Isaac. It doesn’t mean a ton but it helps...

I know they're different classes, but seems strange Hardnett has an offer and Jackson doesn't. Btw, isn't the fan interaction on the Recruiting board a little more friendly??
