Centercourt, I hope you are wrong on the starting five. We need the freshmen from day one. I agree though they don't, necessarily, have to start. Hop and Smith in the lineup as starters seems a bit unlikely unless Bradley has made HUGE strides. Hop is going to have to back up Smith at the 5 (unfortunately for Mikael) and, considering the fouling issues of last year, it'd be surprising to see much of them on the floor together. That's another reason the freshmen will be so important. Not to mention, that lineup of vets is not nearly the best offensive lineup unless Hop has greatly improved in finishing down low/midrange and AB has greatly improved as a shooter. I wouldn't be surprised to see AB starting early on but I wouldn't expect that to last. I would expect him, however, used heavily on defense.

Copeland is probably the only freshman who will end up starting by the end of OCC. I think Peak can get alot of minutes but he plays the same positions as Trawick, Bowen and Cameron so it will be more difficult.

I don't disagree with any of this with any sort of conviction but, as far as Cameron vs. Peak, I don't think Cameron has proven that he deserves to be ahead of LJ on the depth chart. I could see some offense/defense subs with LJ and AB depending on how quickly LJ adjusts. That said, if Cameron's work on his outside shot and his conditioning has allowed him to make a jump, that's a nice problem to have. It would open up the offense and also allow for more pressure D. Especially after last season, it would be great for the staff to have to make tough decisions on minutes as opposed to having their hand forced by suspensions and injuries.

DSR Trawick Peak Hopkins Smith Good call! Ranch had it too. JTIII has not been afraid to start impact freshman in the past. Therefore, I don't believe he will feel compelled to start Bowen over Peak or Hopkins over Copeland/White in game 1 based on seniority. My guess: Smith Hopkins Peak Brilly DSR
