Great accomplishment, thanks chiefly to DFW, but it wouldn't be any fun at all without all the participants here (even the ones who think we don't like them, sometimes especially those!).

Indeed Dan!! It's all DFW. Not to mention that Dan has done the heavy lifting as moderator in recent years. 18 years goes by in the blink of an eye..... PS: Love that the Nova fan omits me. Must be a classmate of my cousin. I'll wear the omission as a badge of honor.....

Top moments in the history of HoyaSaxa? I think the win over UNC to go to the Final Four would be the easy choice, but I'd lean more towards the demolition of Pitt and the BE championship that season. Right behind those, I might go with the day I realized hifigator wasn't posting here anymore... They may not be top moments, but the Ballroom Dancing and Methodists vs Catholics threads certainly were quite memorable.

Don't fret Wilson, we know and greatly appreciate the massive efforts by you and Dan to help DFW keep this insanity under control to the extent that is possible. Hoya Saxa to you all.

Congratulations to DFW, as well as Dan and WBH. Georgetown has been enriched by this Board and the community of students, alumni and friends that it has fostered. Hoya Saxa.
Best threads are, hands down, Devil Goes Down to Georgia and Methodists vs. Catholics (although I think the Methodists/Catholics thread started on a Duke board, didn't it?).

That Methodists/Catholics thread may have started at Duke, IDK, but Frank Black's post was epic!

Congratulations to HoyaSaxa.com on a great 18 years. My thanks to DFW, Dan and Wilson for keeping me attached to alma mater and entertained as a near daily reader, infrequent poster. I first joined to show support after hearing AD Joe Lang say annual NCAA tourney expectations were no longer reasonable/rational. Even though I have only occasionally posted -- my We are Georgetown shirt slogan proposal -- Father, Son and Holy Spirit -- was shot down quickly and vehemently derided by some as sacriligeous and my early reports on Pascal Chukwu were mostly ignored (I think he's going to be good for the Friars and we could have used him) -- I can't wait to visit the board, hear about the Hilltop and be entertained by this passionate Hoya community. Utraque Unum. Kudos to you all!

Congrats!! This site has gotten me through a lot of ups and downs in Hoya basketball over the years. While I only post semi-regularly, I read often and am always glad to know there is a place I can go to get my Hoya fix!!! Thanks to DFW and all others involved in keeping this thing going!!!

Well, I was talking about actual sports moments, but if we're going to add in top thread moments, I'd have to nominate "Superman is a Murderer/Serial Killer" and "Has Hoyatalk Jumped The Shark?"

18 years is crazy. For the HOF threads, we need to add in PBR**, Ron vs Bin on race and politics, and of course, the Process v Results discussion in the Great Esh Debates.
Congrats, DFW! People should celebrate by going to hoyabasketball.com and just diving in for a day or two.

It's too bad the Esherick Rant happened before the move to ProBoards, because that thread would've been an all-timer as a multi-pager.
