Bump just because this kid is too good to not talk about regularly. Are there any updates at all on him? Seems radio silent on any recruiting news for him. He said at one point he wanted to decide before the end of the basketball season but clearly that didn't happen.

He is an essential recruit for us. Probably the most important in the last two or three classes.

He's as efficient a scorer as we've recruited since Austin Freeman.

I'm an optimist, and I give it a 10% chance Fultz becomes a Hoya. It's looking likely that UK will eventually offer and he's said twice that it's his dream school. Add to that we are a program that offers totally different things than UK, and you see why there's a mismatch.

From an espn insider article
DeMatha is located about a mile away from the University of Maryland campus and less the 24 hours after landing a commitment from ESPN 100 big man Diamond Stone (No. 7), the Terps were the buzz on Saturday.
“That was big. I saw that and I was like, ‘Wow,’” Fultz said of Stone’s commitment. “That might change a few things.”
The buzz in the building only grew when freshman star and local product Romello Trimble arrived at the gym to watch 2016 Maryland pledge Anthony Cowan, who responded by showing his own 3-point prowess along with his playmaking and distributing skills.

Markelle, Stone is a one-and-done. He will be in the NBA when you get to college.

Doubt we get him at this point I'll just be happy if Maryland doesn't get him.
