So almost no one recently. Not sure what your point is. Because no recent players studied business the major is no longer available to players? Is that your point? Huh? I was literally making an observation. That's a decent sized list, but Lubick is the only recent player signed to a scholarship in the B-School. Suggests that we tend to steer our players away from the B-School and into the College.

Accounting?! How many GU players have gone to our Business School? Roughly, about 15 percent. Since 1972, that list would include Blaylock, Beal, Berry, Bosanac, Broadnax, Bryant, Caprio, Churchwell, Dalton (MBA), Esherick, Gaughan, Izzo, Jaren Jackson, Kaull (MBA), Brian Kelly, Dan Kelly, Lockhart, Lubick, MacDermott, Millen, Morgan, Paulus, James Reed, Robinson, Samnick, Simms, Williamson, and Yeoman. Trivia question: Who was the last SFS player on the basketball team? Thanks. On the trivia, no idea. What's the answer?

Roughly, about 15 percent. Trivia question: Who was the last SFS player on the basketball team? Thanks. On the trivia, no idea. What's the answer? From my records, the last SFS grad was Art White, who entered Georgetown in '68, quit the team in '71, played a year in Canada and came back for his BSFS degree in '76. www.hoyabasketball.com/features/top100/a_white.htmWhy is this? Some might argue SFS is too hard on scholarship athletes, although that's more an excuse than an explanation. Maybe international relations is not a priority for kids playing high school basketball. Or is it a case where the time commitments of basketball make an SFS class schedule prohibitive?

No easy majors that we can steer our basketball players into within the SFS.

I think of all the off topic in thread discussions this might be the worst one.

What are the easy majors you can steer players into within the college? In my day, it seemed a lot of players majored in sociology.

NEW NAMES EMERGE AT CAMP Every year a few new names emerge at the John Lucas Midwest Invitational. Last year Deng Adell was one of the players that emerged from the event. This go around a trio of prospects – Daniel Mading, Oshae Brissett and Markelle Fultz – stood out as breakout performers.
Fultz, of Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha Catholic, also was a camp standout. At 6-foot-4, Fultx is a talented athlete. He made a number of plays in transition and displayed good scoring ability. DeMatha has a history of cranking out talented players and Fultz appears next in line.

No easy majors that we can steer our basketball players into within the SFS. Artie White returned and got his degree? I'm both astounded and delighted to see that. As a classmate and dormmate of Artie's freshman year, let's just say that it appeared to me that attending class wasn't foremost on his mind. When he showed up at Luis Aguilar-Leon's world history class final freshman year, it was the only time I had seen him in the class all year.

Dam almost missed this with the all the OT posts… The kid from Australia Madding is going to be a problem, might be smart to get on him early as well if they have not done so already.. Edit: Corey Evans @coreyevans_10 Sep 29 Georgetown will be in this week to see Florida prospects Daniel Mading, Udoka Azubuike, Jahshire Hardnett, and Tacko Fall @ny2lasports… Madding recently visited UMD no word if he snuck in a Gtown visit as well though, would be nice… Now consider the fact this video was made 2 years prior Kid is getting better very quickly and is already 6’9 or so… Article mentions him being out of Maryland. I know he goes to school in Florida though. Maybe his host family is local? Idk either way better get on this kid

And I sweated bullets over passing my language proficiency in Mandarin. Yikes. Why did I do that!!??

Marcus Helton @marcushelton Nov 22 Westphalia, MD Markelle Fultz with a tip-dunk and pull-up jumper on back to back possessions. He's going to be a matchup nightmare. #DMVhoops
Marcus Helton @marcushelton Nov 22 Westphalia, MD Last few possessions have been a transition dunk fest for DeMatha. DJ Harvey, Markelle Fultz and Thomas Bruce prominently involved
