I would just be a little concerned that we hold off on Tacko Fall too long while Skal Labissiere dallies, such that Fall decides to commit elsewhere and GU winds up with neither. Fall is more of a project, and more likely to stay more than a season or two. . .Skal could be a one-and-done. Should we all be getting emotionally involved in the recruitment of a player who, if he breaks tigerj's heart and comes here, is probably using the Hoyas as a virtual transfer station on the Metro?

I don't think this board or more importantly the staff is waiting on Skal. Pretty sure if Tacko wants to come, he's welcomed with open arms

Repeating an earlier theme. Take the guys who want to be Hoyas and win with them.
There will be ample talent irrespective of Skal...
If Tacko wants in we say great

It's not one or the other. There's space for both and Skal plays from Day 1 while Tacko is a work in progress.

Gtown doesn't want to end up like that Florida State team who had all of those bigs and did little in the tourney. Need guards, right? That being said, I'm a Tacko fan. Also, Skal is pretty good, but not Rabb good. Or Thon.

We should go hard, hard, hard after him and pray that we have a good enough coaching and conditioning staff and he has enough work ethic to make this work.

I would like to get Fall and I think he could potentially be a great player for us if he develops, but I don't view it as a must get. Govan is more ready and it's doubtful he'd be a one and done unless he really explodes over this year. Thus, as long as Govan stays healthy we should be in fine shape going forward (plus we have Hayes for next year).
That said, it would be nice to have him on our roster.

They were expected to go much farther. < eye roll > I want him for sure.

Also, Skal is pretty good, but not Rabb good. Or Thon. There are three scholarships available for 2015. We could take Tacko and Skaal and still bring in a guard. And we should still have DSR, Peak and Tre for 2015 already.

I am so confused right now. Did we just lose a recruiting battle to a team who was 13-18 last year with a 5th year coach? A team whose last post season appearance was in the CBI in 2011? What just happened?
[edit: looks like he chose to stay home. Understandable, I guess, but probably not the best decision basketball-wise]
