Hopefully this is one Roy can help with.

Is Govan a 4 year player? I assume Tacko is as well unless he goes early based on potential.

He doesn't look nearly as stiff as Roy at that stage

7'5 Tacko Fall of Liberty Christian Prep list Georgetown as on of several programs that he is interested. Native of Senegal. Said to play more like a 6'8 or 6'9. Has great basketball skills.

Pretty sure Tacko already has a thread.

Did he reclassify? Is that possible at this point? I thought he was 2015?

Depends if they mean it in a good way or a bad way. Good: great feet and movement, quicker then his size seems. Bad: brings the ball down in the post too much, tries to do too much outside of the block. Hopefully it is the good.

Since they follow it by mentioning his great basketball skills, I suspect the former.

Also, while bringing the ball down an extra 8" or so isn't a good thing but, in actuality doesn't seem like a great distance, wouldn't there have to be other parts of his game sorely lacking to use that terminology as opposed to just saying that he need to work on not bringing the ball down or learn to not put it on the floor and just go back up strong? I hope it's the footwork part.

From what I have seen he is a decently fluid runner. He has some touch but is very weak strength wise which is obvious and still has some awkwardness to go thru but he does have the profile of someone who if he ever puts it all together could be a Yao Ming type.

I would love this. I think we've been missing a strong defensive presence on the inside since Roy and it shows, especially in the tourney. Even if he's slow, he should still alter shots. It would be nice to see him and Govan spell each other and pair up from time to time.
