Yesterday was the first day coaches can contact 2017 kids directly.. Up until now it was up to the prospect to reach out if he was interested etc... I never knew that. So that means Foster initiated all the contact and therefore at that point we are allowed to talk to him and obviously inevitably in this case offer a schollie? They can contact coaches and parents I believe, just can't call or text the prospect directly. For instance If they(The prospect) call and leaves a message, the coach can't return the phone call. The prospect must call back

Georgetown Pursuing Legacy One of the top players in the state of Indiana is actually a Georgetown legacy recruit. That is Indianapolis (Ind.) Park Tudor standout Jaren Jackson, a 6-foot-8 stretch forward who has really grown physically and with his game over the past 12 months. On Monday, the Hoyas offered Jackson a scholarship. In the past Jackson has made it clear he is fond of the Hoyas, and this could make Georgetown the front runner in the recruitment, though Jackson and his parents also have insisted that they want their son to go through the process and not rush www.scout.com/college/basketball/recruiting/story/1555789-notebook-expanding-offers-for-delaurier

This kid just seem perfect for our system, and what JTIII has been recruiting lately: length, athleticism, versatility, and diverse skillset. Not to mention his dad....
It would be quite disappointing to not land him...

I can't tell his height from the video. I like his skill set if he is 6'8" or taller but if he is in the 6'6" range he needs to work on that handle a little more..............

I thought from most of the scouting reports I've read was that he's 6'8 or so and still growing -- expected to be around 6'9 or maybe a fraction taller by the time he's done, so with that skill set at that height, you can see why he's becoming (has become)a big-time recruit. Looks very thin right now, but growing does that to a lot of people.

Is his father on good terms with the program? I recall (could be wrong) that he felt he was not given a chance at the head coaching role once Esh was fired or even a chance to remain as an assistant.

He looks like he could play the 5 now. Much stronger. He is closer to 6'9 and maybe end up at 6'10.
