It's not like we have a large alumni base in West Virginia. I would stick to geographies that make sense and/or teams that are high-profile. A big part of going to a live game is the attitude of the fans. Also it is a short drive to Morgantown to watch us play every other year. WVU, like a lot of other old BE schools, has a lot of fans in the area and they show up in their maze and blue, creating a full house. I would rather come to see a game with them at the booth than watch the OOC schedule last year. WRIGHT STATE 7350 LIPSCOMB 8,165 HIGH POINT 4,676 COLGATE 7,966 ELOM 7586 FIU 7824 It would be more like 15,000 to watch Huggins stuff.

I want nothing to do with the WVU fan base in our house. Good riddance to them.

WVU is in the Big 12 and I still have a bad taste in my mouth from the loss at MSG in the BE championship and listing to WV by john Denver as we walked out Fair enough.

I'm in the camp of having zero interest in playing WVU. I'd much rather try to schedule UConn or Louisville.

We've had plenty of national champs and Final Fours want to play here.

Now that they are actually good, what about UVA?

The talent is spread across the country . Lville and UConn recruit elsewhere.

Does UConn or Louisville have any DMV talent on their rosters?

Yes, I would rather play Connecticut, Cincinnati, or Louisville, though I am not sure it would be easy to schedule any of them. If people are worried about Syracuse at the Verizon Center, I would argue that WVU fans invaded our home games to an even greater degree. I distinctly remember the 2010 BET where they had far more people in attendance at MSG than we did, and then proceeded to sing Country Roads. Ugh. Just to nitpick, I was at that game and thought the crowd was pretty close to 50/50. However, I'll agree with you about WVU fans at Verizon Center. I remember running with the flag on the court during the 2006 season, late in the game where they had taken the lead and all the momentum. While on court, I got a resounding boo from their fans in attendance, which felt very weird because it was our home court. So in conclusion, screw West Virginia. It was really nice beating and taunting them at McDonough this year.
