Saw an interview with him on a $ site where he mentioned Gtown as one of the main schools recruiting him back in April along with 5 others… Contact has been through his pops according to him Very impressive, really understands the game. Said his HS coach had emphasized using less to do more, thus the reason why his game is so efficient. 1-2 dribble pull ups, coming off screens, floaters in the lane. Mentioned his midrange 15-18ft is his strength and overall strength was his weakness. To combat that he said he’s working out 4 times a week now and it shows. In some ways his offensive package is reminiscent of DSR although not quite as polished obviously. Not a knock DSR offensive game is one of the best. He does seem to have more length athleticism however DSR with more length and athleticism?? I'll take that any day! Wasn’t trying to imply that tbh… That’s Allonzo Trier...

insider.espn.go.com/blog/ncbrecruiting/on-the-trail/post?id=10721Most Improved Kenny Williams -- Williams is a prospect who played his way into the ESPN 100 by virtue of a breakout spring. Like Coleman, his ability to knock down the 3-ball is the foundation for his offensive game, but Williams is far more versatile than he’s given credit for. Actually it was his mid-range game that stood out here as he showed the same soft touch with a quick and high release to score in rhythm without the luxury of much space. He even made a couple of nice passes as a pick-and-roll ball-handler.This kid is coming on very strong.. I saw two separate interviews yesterday where he lists G'town as one of the schools coming at him the hardest right now.. UNC & Virginia are the other 2

If he gets that UNC offer, they’re going to be tough to beat...

Kenny Williams LC Bird/Boo Williams Williams stands 6’3 ½ 170lbs and has learned how to move without the ball better than most guards at the camp. His movement off the ball often frees him for his picture perfect jumper that he knocks down with regularity. However this week’s camp was a point guard camp and Williams showed that he is just as adept at playing with the ball in his hands as he is without it. He displayed the ability to run the offense and get his teammates the ball in a position where they could score. www.hardwoodinsiders.com/2014/06/nike-skills-academy-recap/

Kenny Williams - L.C. Bird 6'4 2015 Williams got better as the weekend went on, as a somewhat modest first two days turned into a very impressive ending. Not necessarily a “camp setting” guy, Williams is typically more affective in structure, when offensive sets are run and screens are set for him away from the ball. And while his future still likely comes as a “college shooter”, he showed strides this weekend in other areas, as well. The 6’4 two guard operated with the ball more toward the end of camp, and several mistakes that turned into turnovers did show his need to add confidence as a ball handler against pressure, but he also set up teammates nicely and made good decisions as a passer and scorer. His last game of 19 points (9-15 shooting and 1-2 from 3), 8 rebounds, and 6 assists was one of the better all-around performances on the weekend. A substance over flash type of player, Williams was efficient with his movement and shots all camp, he didn't settle, and a number of slicing straight line drives and finishes with both hands were illustrations of improvement. That driving facet, along with his developed midrange and pull-up game, will make attacking closeouts a big part of his offensive repertoire at the next level. On the weekend, Williams averaged 8.6 points on 52% shooting (25-48). His camp highlights are at the bottom of the page. www.vantagehoops.com/news_article/show/397976?referrer_id=1103687

illiams attends high school at LC Bird in Richmond, Virginia. He plays AAU with the famed Boo Williams program. Williams was taking a break when I made my way to his team’s court. However, I have had the chance to see him on multiple occasions earlier this summer and coaches are so excited about him because of his deadly jumper and ability to move without the ball. He also has displayed the ability to run the point. Williams has offers from Cincinnati, Memphis and Minnesota among others. Williams will next be in action at the Nike Peach Jam. www.hardwoodinsiders.com/2014/07/lebron-james-skills-academy-day-2-recap/

I watched his game this morning and I like the kid a lot.. He plays within himself on offense & defense.. As Yaboy stated he didn't shoot well but his shot mechanics look excellent.. I'd offer but at the very least the staff should stay in heavy contact..
