Evan Daniels @evandaniels Jun 2 Best high major shooters in the EYBL? Numbers say Jalen Coleman (50-percent), Kenny Williams (47-percent) & Matt McQuiad (45-percent).
Took 82 3’s in 12 games also….

Nice. Would love to get a couple big time shooters like Williams to stretch the floor with all of the talented forwards/centers we have coming in.

DevonTe Brooks @dbrooksbecb 5m Source: 2015 Kenny Williams visit went great. Georgetown really likes him a lot and Kevin sutton hosted him on the visit
Sucks there was only 1 evaluation period in the Spring. The staff probably hasn’t seen him much at all..
Same goes for Cheatham, Lowe, Mack etc Hopefully things heat up in July when coaches can go watch these guys...

Nothing imminent but interest is mutual. Know little beyond that.

How does a kid that is this good out of a city like Richmond get overlooked for so long.....For the gurus, how is his defense? He looks athletic enough to be a pretty good defender.........

[/b] I assumed that since we didn't have a thread about him until last week that he must have been overlooked.

Corey Evans @coreyevans_10 · 6h Impressed with Kenny Williams developments at the lead guard spot. Vocal in setting the floor and makes nice slices to the rim
Corey Evans @coreyevans_10 · 6h Kenny Williams really clicking on all cylinders in this one. Sweet jumper is falling and making nice decisions off the hi ball screen

Saw an interview with him on a $ site where he mentioned Gtown as one of the main schools recruiting him back in April along with 5 others… Contact has been through his pops according to him
Very impressive, really understands the game. Said his HS coach had emphasized using less to do more, thus the reason why his game is so efficient. 1-2 dribble pull ups, coming off screens, floaters in the lane. Mentioned his midrange 15-18ft is his strength and overall strength was his weakness. To combat that he said he’s working out 4 times a week now and it shows. In some ways his offensive package is reminiscent of DSR although not quite as polished obviously. Not a knock DSR offensive game is one of the best. He does seem to have more length athleticism however

Sounds like a great option. Kudos again to the staff for going after so many elite players.
