Sounds a bit like Charles Barkley. How did that work out? Please!!! Did you see Charles Barkley in college at Auburn!? Charles Barkely was one of the greatest small big-man to every play the game. Sean May is not even in his league nor the same universe. Charles Barkely could jump out of the sky, run the floor, put the ball on the floor, shoot from the outside, and could outmuscle, dominate, and bang with NBA-caliber 7-footers and power-forwards. Sean May does none of that and will have a very hard time doing that getting in the NBA. Then only similarties between Sean May and Barkley are that they are both light-skinned and chubby. Thats it.

I was specifically commenting on your chubby comment, that's it. Take it easy. I probably should have framed the quote I took from you a bit better... so sorry.

Isn't Okafor almost averaging a double double and is probably going to win rookie of the year. To be a step down from him isn't that bad. Just wait. May is going to be a very solid player and if I was an NBA coach, I would rather have him today as he will contribute instantly versus any of the four year "projects" I saw in the McD's game or even Williams who will take three more years of seasoning.

If I was an NBA coach. I wouldn't even look twice at May to put in my starting lineup. What team would want him starting at power forward. He can't jump, he can't defend, he can't put the ball on the floor, and as you saw in the final four, he doesn't have stamina. If you want a layup-line, Sean May is your man. If you want a starting NBA-caliber power forward, you need to look elsewhere. But contrary to Sean May, Okafor was a dominant, defensive presence in the paint in college and he had stamina. You see that defense translating to the NBA. Okafor is doing a solid job. May will struggle in the NBA. He'll have a career because he has a big body and UNC/ACC media hype surrounding him. But he won't be an impact player.

Who will make the better pro, D. Williams or R. Felton?

Who will make the better pro, D. Williams or R. Felton? Williams, but I don't think he will be that great as well. Felton falls into the category of great college guards who don't translate the same success in the NBA. I haven't seen enough of Williams though. He does play defense from what I hear. I've seen enough of Felton to know he is not NBA-caliber.

I like Williams, also. I did not see him play often this year. My impression in the tournament was that he may be a step slow. I live in New Orleans, and the Hornets need a point(among MANY things) in the worst way.

Who will make the better pro, D. Williams or R. Felton? Williams. Offensively he'll be alright, but he can shoot, he's clutch and he is a lock down defender.

Williams -- strong, quick feet (not overly fast though, but quick feet), a good jump shot and well above average BBall IQ...I'll give him a 55% he'll be an above average to good PG in 3 to 4 years...more than likely he could be a good 6th man with his defensive tenacity, work ethic and good decision making.
Felton -- very fast, decent handle though not as impressive as he thinks it is, decent defender when his head is in the game, but a tendency to play defense with his hands, not his feet and draw stupid fouls...needs to add strength and stop making stupid decisions with and without the ball. His shot has improved dramatically over the year, so chances of development bode well. I'd rate him as a 45% chance of making a decent to average NBA PG in 5-6 years with flashes of what he was in college. Never a star though.
